Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Nice to have yet another American join us Flying Mikey J!
For laughs I ran a few (5, i think) laps around Maple Valley Short, best was a 44.4XX
Looked in on the other TCC thread and Magictap ran a 42.5.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I haven't gone out to "Maple Syrup Short-stack" yet, but I'm thinking the grip of the Focus will provide good results. Not a big fan of the short circuit though. I'd much rather prefer the full-stack of Maple Syrup than the Short-stack.
yes, I am thinking about pancakes when I talk about the Maple Valley raceway

Buckeye, did you get that thing I sent ya?
I was putting down 0:43.4xx's in the Chevrolet Racing Team Apex NATCC Cobalt.
I played around with the build on the Cobalt. There really is not much room for change after adding all of the mandatory parts. I will try to send out alternative builds and tunes to see how they perform in different hands.

Duke, I haven't looked yet, but I'll check my messages tonight when I hope on the xbox.

I'm IN.
Scheduled work around it, so at this point, I am running both TCC and NATCC.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Had fun last night at Maple Grove until somewhere around the middle of the race I hit the rumble strip and rolled it over. I was slow before the rollover, it didn't get any better afterwards!. Next week I'll be leaving to go to Alaska for a month, so I won't be racing for awhile. I enjoyed the series and will do it again next year.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
For anyone who is curious to watch the previous rounds of the NATCC, since Turn10 upped the space on the Storefront for VIP members, i re-uploaded all of my replays, in sequential order. all titles have 'NATCC' in the file name and in the 'description' to help find them.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I'll admit I was a bit disappointed in no Catalunya round, as I was excited to try the Integra that I had built and tuned especially for Cat... but in the bigger picture I am a bit worried about the future of the NATCC. It seems that there has been a steady drop-off in FM4 as a whole lately, and if 5 people is not enough for a race, then there may not be many races in teh upcoming weeks.
For example, yesterday at 3:30 PM Pacific, which is late evening in Europe and early eve in the Eastern US, I went to hit a B Class public race lobby, and there were but three of us. B Lobby used to be rather populated, but now there are three?
It seems as every incarnation of Forza has some great improvements, the life of each has gotten shorter. FM2 had busy lobbies up until the day FM3 came out. FM3 was strong for well over a year. But FM4 has been out for only seven months, and already is losing racers in droves...
Hope all my worry is for naught.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I blame the lack of track DLC, to keep people interested. The only adds I can name off the top of my head to fm4 were Infineon and Indy (and we lost Bugatti Circuit)

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
You forgot Bernese Alps... which I wish T10 had forgotten to add, but that is another story.
I'm not sure about track DLC, as in the past DLC tracks were seldom used by anyone, but lack of new tracks to replace those that were cut could be an issue. I'd have loved to do some TCC/NATCC on NY Full, a couple of Sidewinders, and Bugatti is much more suited to the quick pulblic lobby races as well as TCC/NATCC races than either of the other LeMans tracks are.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
The Bugatti Circuit is a great track. Turn10's excuse was the new lighting model, but I'm going to call BS, as a lot of public lobbies had corner cutters @ the schicane on the back section of the track.
Its simple really. More tracks = More racing. Hope FM5 is better with track selection(s)
