My tune was fast for qual but not very good for the race. Then my mic quit working so I had to pass cars being very careful. Made several mistakes during the race so lucky to finish in 4th.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 4- Silverstone Grand Prix 18/3/2012
Great to be back in the ISCC, it's been too long! Had a long, rather quiet and pretty uneventful race, i was just trying to keep the car on the tarmac for the duration of the race. I don't think i stopped pushing all race just hoping to beat a few of the LMP1 cars and to finish 6th place overall was just awesome, really can't wait for the next round

YES YES YEEEES!
Winning my home race is just something really special. The Lola Aston has just been stupendous all race long. Nearly fautless apart from the last set of tyres I had.
Many thanks once again to Matt (Magictap) for the epic tustle we had in the first couple of stints. I'm extremely sorry that the battle couldn't continue after your unfortunate racing incident with Ian. Also, many thanks to Duncan (SelectiveRogue) for keeping me stressed for the last nearly half an hour of the race. It really was a tremendous battle. You're a legend mate thank you!
Many thanks to the lads in LMPC and GT as well for making the race easy for us to lap you. I must praise Nick (LFCNICKLFC) and Shane (TrooperR6) for one particularly kind jester when myself and Duncan came up to lap them by the Abbey chicane. Really professional of you guys.
I must apologise as well for my yelling as I came across the start/finish line. It really was a huge relief to be able to hold Duncan off and win my home race. Sorry!

Good racing tonight, started the race in 5th and managed to drive round the out side of bruno in the Jag in the first 2 laps, I then settled in for my long first stint as I knew it would be in a race long battle with the Jag who again was running a different strategy. I pitted in the 24th minuet and then again the lap after as I waned to get the ran as light as possible if i was having a battle in the closing stages. Was sitting with about 500-600ft on the jag with about 40 minuets and was happy as the gap was stable. Then heading into the left hand kink at maggots the leading LMP1 battle caught me, dan dived down my left just as we kinked left and i got a tap from the right sending me back wards into the gravel. one of the Lola BMWs had tried to go right but there was just no room. Luckily I got the car out quickly and only lost 1 place to the jag but by this stage was around 2000ft ahead.
Over all a good night and reminded me why I enjoy driving that Lambo.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 4- Silverstone Grand Prix 18/3/2012
Great race everyone.
Fairly quiet race for me. Surprised myself by qualifying in 4th place. For the start of the race I had Ian breathing down my neck. I ran wide coming out of Stowe which gave Ian the opportunity to go around the outside of me going into Vale. After the pitstops I was still about 500ft. behind and if it wasn't for his unlucky break I doubt I would have caught him.
Cannot wait to see the video that Magictap managed to record. I did find it a little weird coming up on his car as he sat on the side of the track.

Glad i could help all the other Lambo drivers out with their tunes in the meeting of the Lamborghini Owners Club before the race.
I didnt mind magic sitting near the track. I just wish his microphone worked so we could hear him tell us he was doing so.
And a good hard race tonight in GT. found a little bit extra in the Lambo during qually, but could not keep up the consistency with the traffic and through the race. But I finished And i was not late for work.
3 Americans took the steps of the podium in GT.

Requesting no action to be taken on Chaddy (Franchitti Fan). Guilty of a brain burp and has appolagised. Good enough for me .

Really pleased with my race, relatively trouble free, brought her home with 0% damage, finished 5th, and managed a personal best 1:34.605 clean.
Each outing I get more comfortable, more consistent, and ever closer to the ultimate pace.
Congratulations to my team prinicipal ATR DAN!

Many thanks Zach and congrats on your 5th place finish. I'm also extremely thrilled to hear that you feel more comfortable in the car all the time. It's really showing with your performances in the last two races in particular. Keep up the good work dude.
I'm still bubbling after the race last night. It has to be the best race I've had for a while.
