Apex Autosport Lola HPD for ISCC?
Apex Autosport Joining ISCC in 2012?Braselton, GA, USA - May 7, 2012
The distinct sound of a turbo-charged V6 Honda could be heard echoing through the trees surrounding Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA) earlier today. Upon closer examination this as-yet unknown LMP entry was photographed whistling around the 2.54 mile circuit.
Apex Autosport Owner/driver Zach Casto was spotted in the paddock, as were various key technical personnel for both Lola and HPD (Honda Performance Development). When approached and questioned Casto's sole response was "no comment".
Is this a potential ISCC America entry? Will it contest LMP or the rumoured LMP2 category? Has Zach Casto been relieved of his driving duties with Gulf ATR? These questions remain unanswered at the moment, and perhaps only time will tell.

I think your performances have justified your status within TORA. I'm pretty sure the community can back me up on that one. You've done a splendid job this season.

Kidding. I'm just ALLEGEDLY testing the waters with an LMP2 spec Lola HPD, in case the ISCC American schedule proves to have too many date clashes for me to be a part of ATR! Mind you this report confirms nothing more than my presence at this test.
The last thing I want to do is be the guy on the team that never shows.

Looks like the Lola HPD that I was ALLEGEDELY testing will be pushed back into the shed...
