2012 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy

I completely forgot about this years TT amongst Indy and Monaco. It's considered to be the pinnacle of world motorcycle racing, the big daddy of them all. It is also considered to be the most dangerous motor race in existence.

For almost two weeks, the island of around 85,000 people in population, almost equidistant between the coasts of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland in the Irish sea, transforms into a 37.733 mile, high speed circuit.

A special day for the Isle of Man today. The Olympic torch relay reached the island, and it got a ride around on a TT bike.
