just found this on youtube, must say, looks fantastic, the car and the track, sounds great and with propper physics being added, it's going to be a great game. note Front wheel lockup including tire smoke, operation of KERS and DRS, on the fly adjustment of brake bias. best part is, its still a work in progress

Ugh. It still looks awful. The track.

It could be anywhere in the world. Thank the lord that it is a new build though.

Oh, and I've also heard you'll have to buy a Sky Sports subscription to play the game for more than two days every month Razz

It should be noted that the game’s toughest A.I difficulty does not feature in the demo. The Legend A.I difficulty option is only present in Career and Quick Race, both available in the main game.

Pros:

Presentation is superb. They new menus system, Young Driver Test tutorial and more are very well done.
Graphically the same as the last two games.

Cons:

Completely unplayable on my Fanatec. Wheel has absolutely no feeling to it so I can't even drive the car around simple corners, and it feel like it is shaking and grinding itself to pieces. It's only a demo, but the PC version of the last game was just as bad.
Couldn't play it on a controller, handling was all off.
Same game as the last two.

I disagree, graphically. The field of view is much better, the game is not 'zoomed in' any longer, which helps. And it's lost that weird out of focus effect.

I felt that the handling was much improved. I play F1 2011 quite a lot, and I was pleased to actually feel understeer for the first time, unlike it's predecessor. There was a feeling of actual grip, rather than the weird 'softness' of '11.

In my eyes, it's much improved, and feels better than '11. It's easy to give in after spinning off a few times and blaming it on bad handling, but it definitely feels different, and took some time to get used to.

I like it.

It's unplayable with my Fanatec wheel, but with it being a demo I kind of expected that. I had the same problem with 2011 on the PC so I could never play it again. DIRT Showdown was just as unplayable with my wheel. I used the pad quickly and having used the pad on 2011 for a good afternoon trying to learn it I just can't drive a game that feels like that.

I have been asking Codies this afternoon if my wheel is supported and I'm not getting an answer Sad

F1 2011 was very strange with my MS wheel it seemed to rock it nearly off my desk ect it was attached to and I actually thought it was going to destroy it self.. The car itself felt like I wasnt drivbing it I couldnt feel the car ect. Even if I turned the force feed back down.

F1 2010 was amazing it felt like a proper racing game with my wheel.

Dose 2012 feel like 2011 richy?

2012 definitely doesn't feel like 2011. The car feels connected to the ground in '12.

Plus the FOV is wider, which helps the sense of turn in quite a bit.

Anyone got the full game yet? It's pretty awesome! Singapore looks incredible, so much better than '10 & '11 (just look at YouTube videos) cockpit cam seems easier to drive in & no assists is also more forgiving. Only bad points is that I don't have money left for Forza Horizon Sad

I hate the Austin track. The corners just don't seem to flow. That is, of course, personal opinion. And there's a bit of a leap from pro to legend A.i it's a case of too easy on pro & too hard on legend. Hopefully I'll catch up to speed soon! Loving it can't wait for college to finish today Very Happy

'Tis a shame not a lot of people have it. A championship on this would be great!

Well sure you could start one up but advertise it elsewhere how did all this start, first race 4 cars and just advetise it. So it could work
