TASCAR 2012 - Round 1 Qualifying - 14th July 2012

Qualifying For Round 1 @ Sunset Speedway will begin @ 3pm EDT (8pm BST) 14th July, 2012.

ROUND 1 Qualifying will have 2 sessions.

Qualifying Session 1:
- 4 Laps. (1 out-lap, 2 Flying Laps, 1 In-lap to collect times)
- Once the lobby has gotten underway, all drivers will line up to the inside of the track as if exiting Pit Road. One Driver will qualify at a time. Once your 2 flying laps are over, and pass those waiting to qualify, State you are finished, and line up near the entrance to Pit Road. Qualifying Times will be gathered Once everyone has finished.

Session 1 lobby settings:
- Damage: Limited
- Collisions: Off

Once Session 1 of Qualifying is Finished and times are taken and Sorted, invites will be sent out for the "Quaifying Race(s) or "Session 2".
(note: Drivers a who have managed to land 1st and 2nd on qualifying times are locked into their positions regardless of Qualifying Race results)

Qualifying Session 2:
- TWO 25-lap Races.
- Each Race will determine the "Left" and "Right" side of the starting Grid. Drivers who have a qualifying time of 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, etc., etc, will be in Race 1. Drivers who have a qualifying time of 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, etc., etc., will be in Race 2. Each Race will have ONE mandatory pit stop. NO "Green-White-Checkerd" rules apply to the Qualifying Races, and may possibly end under caution if an incident occurs on the penultimate lap. If lead driver crosses the line to start the final lap before hand, the race will end under green.

Session 2 lobby Settings:
- Damage: Limited
- Collisions: On

Caution/Safety Car Speed: 90mph
Safety Car/Caution
In The case of a Safety Car is called, DO NOT brake to get down to Safety Car speed. this could cause chaos. Let off the throttle and let the car slow down on its own. During the Sfaety Car period, Everyone forms up Single-File until everyone has caught up, then the field should reform into 2-by-2 formation for the restart.

Completely unsure on how long next saturdays' events will last mate. As you are aware of how Qually works for the oval races seeing you ran last year, though the qually session does take a little time, it shouldnt be too long of a down time between Session 1 Qually, sorting times, and then to send out invites for the Qually Races. My best guess Chaddy, is the Qually Races would be underway by at least 9pm BST.
