Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 6 Sedona Speedway Full Course - 28th October 2012
holy cow what a race, Louis hooked this car up and i was flying... like a lizard lol but bad luck strikes again coming up on 30mins left in the race and coming to the transition from oval to road course, a 458 Italia got loose and slide up the track, right in front of me and with no where to go i ran into the back of him... with that incident i then pitted but the car was still very drive-able(40% front and 24% sides), so i mustered on and surged forward to make up what lost time i could... With the damage the car become even funner to drive because i was seemingly able to go thru corners w/ 100% throttle, by adjusting my lines... even tho it was slower than before, just fun to drive
Then the finale, coming to the checkered i was about to be lapped again by the lead P1 car. As i was coming into the final tunnel, i caught the 458 Italia again, but this time the car became aero tight for the first time and the car went sliding into a wall and then proceeded to roll onto its roof right in front of the DRWfan99 and Toxic but they missed me, wheww lol. I was done, what a race... but then Bli33ard, MXR X Factor, XBR James Hall all helped in getting my car back to its wheels and pushing me the last part of the lap and getting to finish.
Thanks guys for the help, what race. once again plagued by bad luck, but with two races left i'm really pushing for a win. The car definitely had the speed to have been on podium but next time... one of the races will be mine!!

I'm about ready to find out if Fanatecs can fly...cannot believe the ridiculous issues I was having...think I'm going to flash the firmware and go back to an earlier version.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 6 Sedona Speedway Full Course - 28th October 2012
I'm on my third Fanatec. They've all had major issues right along with the current wheel as previously stated with my lap 4 qualifying disconnect. Their customer service is pretty good mainly I think because they fully understand they have a faulty product for Xbox. I wish I could figure out a way to get Microsoft to pay me to design a professional series wheel for them. I could put Fanatec out of businessBuckeyeBullet wrote:I'm about ready to find out if Fanatecs can fly...cannot believe the ridiculous issues I was having...think I'm going to flash the firmware and go back to an earlier version.

Pretty happy with my ISCC debut.
After kicking out the tail and making contact early on with the wall heading into the first tunnel i had a ton of oversteer. Still, i managed to get a podium with 3rd in class out of it, with another Vodafone British Gamers SLS on the podium in 2nd via Wumba.
All in all a successful outing.

Sorry to give you the bad news brother. When they work...they work well. I've had one Gt2 wheel and 2pedals CSR's. Love em but they are anything but reliable. Xbox wheel way more reliable.ShrinkingSteven wrote:BloodYCaiN wrote:I'm on my third Fanatec. On the results, what does 1:30, 1:31, 1:32, 1:33 mean? If it is finishing time, then why is it like that?

thats the total time your race was, when we ask for your finish time we subtract that from the time the race is set, then add or take away seconds that make you on par with the time differences for each lobby, in this case lobby B had 6 seconds taken away from lobby A as they took 10 seconds longer to cross the line plus they are 4 seconds behind A lobby right away. Lobby C had 45 seconds added to their start time as they were 37 seconds faster than a lobby to start plus the 8 seconds added for C lobby. and D lobby had 12 seconds added as they crossed the line at the same time as A lobby but have 12 seconds added because they are C lobby. Makes sense?

Wumba and Python you will leave your confrontation off of our forums please, we see it is you two that don't get along and having an argument under every race thread every week will not be tolerated. Sort your issue else where please and thank you.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 6 Sedona Speedway Full Course - 28th October 2012
First time in the A lobby and even leading the race a couple of laps!
I loved every second racing yesterday/today....
In the beginning I had a slight touché with the general ( sorry about that, I was on a slow pace but still he slided against you) I had 10% damage to the front and I had not the pace anymore I needed to stay close at F4H mikem.
That's not normal what a speed hamilton and Drake can create and also their consitency. Mikem also is very consistent although he might was struggling with cold tyres in the beginning.
But.....
I don't know exactly what happened but the delay was way too much...
We had to wait on someone who was painting his car?!
The rules say we start quali at 8GMT. ( in holland it is than 1 hour later)
So it was a delay of almost 15 minutes when we started( ok, that could happen)
Then the race.....
The rules says that after 9 GMT the race will be postponed. Now I had to wait till 945!!that the race starts!!!
That means ending at 11.15 ( overhere that's 0.15) and full with adrenaline go to bed and have the wake up call at 5.30 ( have to work)
So please organisers follow the rules a bit more because I am vry tired for work now.Have to work till 6 pm....

Adder believe race was fine to run, Chris who is "Race Director" was not here today, Louis I believe had issues with LT on Google which resulted in the delay, apologies for what happened as there should of not been that long of a delay.
Myself, Richy were also not available for last nights race so we did have some staff missing.
