TORA VLN Rules

Ian, I offer my help in hosting or helping to run any additional sessions. I've done this countless times for other events. Just shout if you need any assistance

As long as you build the car within the set rules, within the correct power & weight band and not above the MAX PI then the car can enter.

Yes there are other cars which do not make it all the way to the MAX PI but are well within the rules.

The rules in my eyes are fine and after you comments i'm taking that as a personal insult and feel you personally, will not be welcome at this event.

Anyway, You guys take it serious to test and upgrade the cars what you put on the list
I am taking that list serious and I am upgrading, testing and tuning a lot of the cars.
And if I then find out that there is a car who we might want to drive has a much lower PI, then I will be dissapointed and I will say that.
If that means that I will be excluded from a race, so be it.

Ian is using this event to find flaws with some of the cars for the n8, its good the car issues are been found and not a bad thing

This is how I personally designed these rules, you don't hear people moaning because you can't get get MAX power within the PI limit or down to the minimum weight.

I have personally built and tested all these cars in SP2 and I am happy with the whole event that I have set up and trying to run on my own! (with the help of the hosts and other testers).

Ian I don't think he meant it like that, I think he just worded it in the wrong way. I don't think anyone can doubt the effort you have put into this, they are just pointing out oddities in the car list that may have been missed as it is such a vast car list.

I fail to see the insult...maybe just worded a little wrong. Try not to take offense so easily Ian...we all appreciate the time you and all the staff put into these series. For real.

I can't see anyone using an uncompetitive (in terms of PI) car anyway.

Please people understand that english in not our first language so sometimes things are said different and come over a bit hars.

we were testing car and found this problem, we wondered why this was, maybe if the car was listed as pi 555 like other cars for example Porsche/ lambo are 660, we could assume the car was tested and found that with this pi it is compatible in class. Not to offend anyone.....

We really do like all the work the TORA staff put in to this, we put a lot of time in testing cars as well.

I was just about to say that. We need to cut them some slack more than others because learning a language & putting it in the right context must be very difficult. My Spanish teacher wasn't impressed when I accidently called him a 'burro testiculo'

I for one think if a mistake is made in any language then an apology is due, it calms the situation quite nicely.

Depends on the intent be had behind it, and the equivalent word and meaning in his own language.

sloppy means in dutch slordig.
Maybe there is another word for it, I don't know....messy maybe.
I am not going to apologise for things I am saying.
It was not meant as an insult.
In Holland there is a saying

Hij heeft zijn hart op zijn tong.


That means I will tell the things how I feel it.
Sometimes it can be very hard the words I am using, that's just me.
And I will allways take the consequences with that.
