Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Monaco sucks ass so bad they really should get rid of this track .
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
No, Monaco is one of the big 3 motorsport events. Getting rid of it would be retarded.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Anyone see Raikkonen shut the door on Perez? Gotta love the "Iceman"
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Definitely.
Hamilton and Webber battled for a long period, Sutil made numerous passes at Lowes, Perez into T10 made a few passes and had a few more attempts, lots more racing than a few weeks ago at Catalunya there was strategy involved. All what I would expect from a race.
Again. getting rid of Monaco would be retarded

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
He's not that great, hasn't really had a stand out drive in his whole career and Sutil is better than him, just been slightly unlucky this season.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Getting a Force India car to 4th at Singapore isn't a stand out drive???
Well I think he's a top 4 team driver once the older guys retire.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
He's been totally outclassed by Sutil all year.
He's a competent driver, but not a stand out.

Disagree.
Di Resta: 28pts
Sutil: 16pts (10 of which came today)
Di Resta has certainly more than shown his worth. He's also more consistent, an important and often underrated skill.

He had to retire at China and Malaysia though, and had the unfortunate incident at Bahrain, where his lap-time data showed that he was quicker than Paul and potentially could have had 2nd. He also had a pitstop problem at Spain which costed him a ton of time. Lots of these things were out of his control. He's only 12 points behind Di Resta and not got points at 4 races.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
On the other hand, Di Resta has had his fair share of bad luck, including Malaysia. Maybe you view him in a different light, but I certainly rate Paul as a formidable driver.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Both Di Resta & Sutil can overtake that was shown today but Di Resta keeps his nose clean were Sutil has damaged his car. Di Resta would have passed him at the 1st race had it not been for team orders. Plus Di Resta was way quicker than Sutil at round 2 before they retired. and wothout starting at the back today Di Resta could have got a top 5 with the way the race went today, but everyone has bad luck.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Great race today, one of the best Monaco GPs I have ever seen.
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Really happy for Rosberg today, he deserved that win so much based on the fact that he was consistently quicker all weekend. I wonder if there were any upgrades following Barcelona?
Perez - well, he was a hero until he crashed into Kimi and gave him a puncture. I didn't see Kimi's recovery back into 10th though, anyone see it?
Di Resta's near podium in Bahrain wasn't too shabby guys, though at the same time Sutil led the Aussie race comfortably for a while - Force India have great drivers, and it's a nice problem to have. I have to say, if I had to choose between who I figured could leap into a superior team, I think teams would go with di Resta. Sutil's wages are too much haha

It hotted up nicely towards the end, but up until the pit stops I thought it was a bit pedestrian. Coulthard put it well right on the final lap when Vettel banged in the fastest lap of the race that was two plus seconds quicker than anyone else had gone; 'rubbish'. I think Pirelli have gone too far with the tyres. Making them ware out faster is good, but making them fall apart if you so much as look at them is stupid. The race was all about tyre management and everyone was cruising, thus essentially taking the racing out of racing. I'm all in favour of the tyres having a shorter lifespan, but this is a bit silly.
Good race though you're right, but there are some matters that need addressing in my opinion.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Sutil is the better of the two imo, Di Resta just moans when things aren't going his way, which is usually all the time.
He's had 3 seasons to prove himself and i'm yet to see this promise that so many people say he's capable of.
Kimi drove hell for leather in the final few laps as he had nothing to lose and wanted to extend his consecutive points finishes to 23 races, 1 behind the all time record of Schumacher. He was however under investigation for speeding undersafety car conditions after the race although seems to have escaped a penalty.
