But don't all drivers?
Perez was being a menace. He was driving way too deep into the chicane forcing other drivers to cut it to AVOID hitting him.
Red Bull get lucky again. Possibly the luckiest team in Formula 1.

Perez is a lot of fun to watch though. If it weren't for him and Sutil, there wouldn't have been much racing within the points paying positions.
Of course I'd have a different opinion if I was racing against Perez, but from the comfort of my couch, I'd go as far as to say the sport needs more of that and less of those that follow "team orders".

Perez proved that Senna's ''you no longer go for a gap'' philosophy was utter bullshit.

Probably the wisest thing ever posted here.
Oh, and this thread now has more replies than the 2012 thread. And we've only just passed Monaco.

Williams have struck a deal with Mercedes to run their engines from 2014 onwards but will build their own transmission.

I wouldn't say i was shocked but surprised. I believe Toto Wolff is still a big shareholder at Williams or something along those lines and so you could say the two teams have a good link through him.
Toro Rosso also announced they're switching to Renault power.

I remember Torro Rosso wanting to be 'its own team' and now there running back to Red Bull again.

Toro Rosso I guess will always have their ties with Red Bull, if there's a chance for Renault to advertise their Infiniti brand then they're always gonna do it.
@ Willams with Merc... interesting, as McLaren obv changing over to Honda. Now THAT's a big switch considering last 10/15 years

Raikkonen going from 13th to 10th, the last move on the Hulk was on the last lap, he ended up 7 seconds ahead.

Yeah I just noticed that. Fantastic comradery. As Damon Hill says Kimi was on fresh tyres, the others were not. Smart driving?
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
So, Van der Garde got a 5 place Grid drop for the incident with Hulkenberg. Which, in my opinion, is completely unfair. Seems like Hulkenberg pulled across too early.

Agreed, although apparently the Hulk was lapping him so VDG shouldn't have been near him.

Christian Horner has been given an OBE for his Services to Motorsport...
How many other people can we think of who deserve OBE's more than him?

Think what you like about Red Bull & Vettel, but I feel Horner deserves it. He's had a marvellous career so far and he's not even 40 yet! I prefer Ross Brawn, and don't like the way Red Bull throw their toys out of the pram when things don't go their way.

Oh god
I don't think it's TCS to be honest. Does certainly look odd though.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Mercedes tribunal result will have Red Bull raging!
Mercedes did gain an "unfair sporting advantage" from its use of a 2013 Formula 1 car in the secret Pirelli test even though that had not been the original intention, claims the FIA International Tribunal.
In its official decision on the matter, the International Tribunal explained that Mercedes and Pirelli had both acted in good faith in regards to the test, but that did not get around the fact that regulations had been broken.
That is why it elected to give both Mercedes and Pirelli a reprimand, while also banning the Brackley-based team from taking part in July's young driver test at Silverstone
