Your Gamertag Story

Named after the Metal band from Sacramento CA. The MX stands for Motocross. So essentially its LMR Deftone Motocross

My GT is based on one of my favourite DJ's, a guy called Diplo who's one of about 4 musicians and producer who come under the name major lazer.

For those who didn't know, my old gamertag was DAN 2605. Nothing really imaginative about it.

But my current gamertag was created due to the venture of joining two teams, Austins Motorsport and Matt Hunter's THR team in 2009. But I didn't really change my gamertag until 2011 where it made sense really seeing there's only one team I'm gonna drive for in the rest of my TORA days.

As for me, Hailfire was inspired by Star Wars: Battlefront on the old Ps2. Being barely 13, of course the thought of balls of fire dropping from the heavens seemed awesome, so it stuck as my traditional tag on a lot of things.

97 has always been my favorite number. But being one of the "elite 6" who get a single-digit number on here is lucrative, too.

The X is because when I signed up for Xbox Live under "Hailfire97," it didn't link to my saved data from when I didn't have internet, so it would have all been lost. I added the X to stay Hailfire97 -- for the most part.

Well when I started racing online originally back in 2004 that was Jenson Button's race number in the BAR Honda. So Jenson09 was born!
Ironically it was also the best year he had (before 2009). When JB finally won the title the irony was not lost on the TORA community. It's like I knew!

Had plenty of offers to change my GT over the years to add team names etc to it but I'm resolutely a JB fan til I stop racing altogether.

Well XBR was the club that I was with and Essxboy is because I am from essex, the only reason the weird spelling is there is because of the Microsoft offensive words feature I am not allowed to be proud to be from Essex lol

So so so true it's still by far my favourite flight sim when it comes to mission scenarios and story still gives me goosebumps and I've completed on ace about 15 times haha

Aha I completed it enough to get the Lazer jet, I think it was called the Falken or something. So f'ing awesome the way it opened up.



Such an awesome game. If I had a PS2 and still had the game I'd probably go play it now I remember it was hard to get hold of 2nd hand, it was kinda rare to get a decent copy.

I'm surprised how many of us are from east Anglia. Myself, jgroves, Uniform16, PJGroves, Charchie92 and Mr Lagtastic XD are all from Bury St Edmunds and a lot of my family are in Colchester / Wivenhoe

Back to the plot, my Gamertag is my initials and my old Superkart racing number. Before this one I was ClungeMonkey89. I changed it after an awkward conversation with XBL Customer Services
