Introduction

Hullo! Please close the door behind you. And wipe your shoes on the doormat. Geez.

This isn't going to be a Forza paintshop thread, but if you are interested in that, by all means do visit my storefront. There's mostly Marc VDS replicas (totally accurate!) plus some other neat niche stuff.

Since I first took part in Nurbracer activities back in 2010, I've been making Forza-related concoctions for various reasons. There is a metric sh*t tonne of digitally rendered photos, posters, quotes, lulz, and cars on my hard drive, so I'm only going to share the most recent, relevant, and favourite.

I studied graphic design for a year and learnt some really great tips on these sorts of things, including some very deep theoretical stuff (that does work, funnily enough). I've recently gone through an epiphany of sorts, and decided to relight the dwindling flame of design initiative, and as such you're going to see a lot more of me soon... I've also recently ordered a graphics tablet so maybe I'll get some drawing in, too.

Posters

Ok, this is where I'm going to concentrate most on in the future. Making a poster for any event can be as easy or as difficult as you make it, which is why there are some posters out there designed by graphic gurus which are truly incredible.

There are many odd little creations I've made for Nurbracer's old events, but I'm not going to share those there since they hold little, or no, relevance. I'm going to start in June, when the TORA Le Mans 24 Hours was right around the corner.

Ok, now we're into the more recent stuff, and the bit I want to continue further.

For the TORA Nurburgring 8 Hours, I randomly decided to knock up a quick poster-size image that would promote the event. While not entirely "official", a banner version was knocked up and used on the event's livestream page.

Videos

I haven't had a chance to create many videos, due mainly to the fact that I don't own a HD gaming capture card, which would greatly help the production of videos; with one of these I could churn out a video every time I boiled the kettle if I really wanted to.

Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004, an editor made for web-based images, and isn't that great a photo editing. I would get photoshop, but... Well, I would get photoshop. Maybe I should get photoshop.

A 30-day trial of Adobe Premier CS6. It has long since expired. However I now have Adobe After Effects CS6.
