Thanks Magic Id going to look back at the reply and try to work out if a 4 stop really was quicker than a 5 stop.

We think Daniel would have been about 10-15 seconds behind Takumi at the end if he'd been on the same strategy (5 stops), so looks like it worked well. Such a shame for Shifty lagging out, he was heading for 4th or 5th I think

Takumi said it cost him quite a bit stopping the extra time.

My GT3 driver, firebl4de9696, was put into the GT4 class, which gave him a 35% power handicap on a GT3 vehicle. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Correct me if im wrong, but don't you choose your own class/player group when you have joined the lobby?

you are responsible for selecting your own class.

Actually thinking about my previous post who was the lobby host , if a GT3 car can slip through the net and race with a GT4 handicap whats to say there wasnt anyone else running the wrong class , not saying anyone would cheat but ...

Also, as far as I know it was not brought up in the race otherwise we may have restarted!

Chucky was the host for starting the room

I spoke to Fireblade about it and he says it was lapped by 'the same cars' so if he was put into GT4 why not other Merc's. So the lobby settings were correct. So it was his own fault.

He also said that Chucky was telling him to because he was in S class he had to be GT4.
Makes no sence if it says GT3 in the cars name???

To what he was saying I think it was a miss comunication between Fireblade and chucky and fireblade was in the wrong class though it.

But if he was in GT4 how come he was lapping GT4 cars?

could someone view the replay just to see how much power his car is pumping out.

This was also his first start in TORA, so he's not familiar with how things are run yet. I think he said Chucky told him to be GT4, but I'm not 100% sure.

So here we go if Fireblade picked the right car he would have done it right.

The merc sits in the S class in the enduro setup. But even with 35% power loss he is still faster than the standard gt4s. But regardless, being new and on the phone, and not knowing the rules... It's gonna be a driver error.

For gt4 settings, is there a PI limit or just opened to s class?

Before the start of the race I read out the brief about everything of the race and asked if anyone had any questions, he was the only one to ask questions but none relating to the car, he would of had to do the same at Quaily as the same settings are used for both. There is no way you can use a car from another class in a different class as all the PIs are different.

Right I've found the problem and it looks to be external.
His max hp is 482 (took the pic a few secs early but anyway it shows he wasn't in the gt4 group) because 550*0.35 = a loss of 192hp and he is quite clearly above that.
The problem is that his throttle never reaches the maximum input (red line) and the net result is the loss of horsepower. Evidence below:
