At the risk of incurring the wrath of the community, some PI and build changes have been made to the car list in GTE.

Car have not had PI taken away from them, as we are too close to the event to be making cars worse and affecting car choice. However, the cars we deemed to be slower have been increased as you will see below.

Le Mans will see some slight changes to a few cars, namely the Corvette and Aston Martin. They will not be overly drastic. Until then, the cars will follow the new build rules.

All Cars run with Stock Wheels.

This new data has been provided by the help of Staff, the Community, and F4H with some in depth testing.

Jaguar RSR XKR GT - PI 757- Race Brakes, 310 Front Tyre Width, 340 Rear Tyre Width
Panoz Abruzi - PI 764- Race Brakes, 310 front, 320 rear
Porsche 911 GT3-RSR (Newest version) - PI 767 - Race Brakes, Race Driveline, 305 Front Tyre Width, 330 Rear Tyre Width
SRT Viper - PI 763 - Race Brakes, Max Tyre Widths

Thanks Chris, we had CQR help out pre-release. We'll be doing a few things to try make some things better for other races/seasons. The TCC is the perfect example of the community working together to make a great and pretty balanced set of cars.

We tried to do what we could with the cars, but didn't want to make any negative changes so bumping up the 'slower' cars seemed to be the best way forward.

Definatly the best and most accurate way, adding power penaltys or downgrading PI's can upset the balance even more sometimes looking back at past experiences. Looking forward to this even though im about 1-2 seconds at the moment off the pace from rest of the team.

I've Just had a look at the entry list and when i got to the car allocation i found this

looks like some 1 has corrupted file fixed now although need confirm age viper sure its 2012

urm, wtf....2011 was two years ago right!! Had a good year in 2011, cost me £391 wining le mans though!! I was with VVV back then:

Well in the middle of the 6 car Le Mans race race of 2011 (3 LMP, 3 GT cars) We were just having a good laugh and pounding round as you do talking about motorsport and other life stuff. There was one or two people watching the race from inside the lobby and one of the drivers said they were needing the toilet. He could just park up and go so he decided to keep going, only for the guy watching the race to go to his bath with this wireless headset and controller and turn on his tap and put his mic up to!!! Laughing

The poor driver had to turn off his mic not to go running to the toilet himself! Cue almost on the floor crying in laughter drivers trying to do a 24 hour race!

Then I said 'why don't we just throw a brown flag so everyone can stop and take a ****?!' Cue even more laughter and I even think someone missed one of the chicines lol.

Anyway during all this My Magictap hadn't been looking at this floor reading and all we hear is 'Right just crossing the line now to do another lap, great race so far lads!'

A split second later we hear this '****!, the fuels all gone!!!!!' Luckly for mr magictap all the other cars were on the other side of the track so he was able to turn around and roll down the hill and make it to the pits somehow!!!! Cue yet more Laughter and the driver needing to go to the toilet just went to the toilet so missed what happened! This race was also the only one that I know when all LMP cars have retired from a stint and the GT cars got back alot of time lol
