A few more corners after that incident and my Internet disconnects.
Sorry about that dude, I'll go hands up on the first incident because I got a bit wobbly on the brakes - second one don't really know what happened

Sorry to the Lobby D guys in Stint 3, I thought I was going to have to fill in for Sv3ttel since he didn't show up for stint 1, but just as the grid got setup I saw him sitting right in front of me! And then my modem took a dump and the last thing I heard was someone saying they had 100% aero damage on all sides.

Yes, but not when you are going of the leader hitting their mile marker exactly when they could be much further through it.
The biggest gap between calculated feet and mile marker should be added to every player in the lobby. You'll have a much more accurate result after 6 stints rather than being up to 6 miles out.
I thought this is why Richy was asking for mile markers as well as distance gaps at the end of Stint 1 for Lobby A?
In the spreadsheet you'd have: [mile marker] - [calculated distance]
Then look for the largest positive amount and add it to every players distance.
It would need to be done independently for each lobby but as there are only 4 lobbys it isn't that hard to do tbh.

Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
Good racing in D lobby apart from 2 lag outs! Fair play to Wood53y who dominated the whole stint!
Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
Rough couple stints for me. Had no warm up laps as my invite came up as soon as I turned on my console so the first 10 laps were me waking up @ 6am Pacific. Then in stint 2 I had an opening lap lag spike that caused 100% aero all the way around. But I soldiered on through and still got 400+ miles between the two stints.
Long race anything can... and will... happen
Good luck - have fun.

It was two cars with two completely different braking distances.

Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
To substitute a driver in a stent, it has to be a driver already on my team. Is this correct?

Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
Why was the lobbies in stint 2 based off of qualifying and in stint 3 there was 3 LMP cars put behind the GT cars? By the time we got clear there was no hope in hell of catching the guys in front. Kinda felt like we were being kicked while down. There was no consistency in this.
Had a great race otherwise. Me and Venom were never more than a stones throw from each other for the whole race although in the last 2 minutes I caught his draft in a corner and got it side ways.
I will say though that you (Chad-XPR Venom) were too aggressive with GT cars. Too many times I seen you dive bomb into corners and hit a multitude of cars in the process. I seen you hit 3 GT cars in the last 40 minutes. You could easily have ruined someones day and my team and your team have no hope of winning this when the GT cars do. Tone down the aggression when you go on track later cause someone in GT will suffer. Other than that, good racing Chad

Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
I just noticed that on the Live Timing in Stint 2 C Lobby CQR Chris has more miles than I do... I passed him an hour into the stint and had 4800 feet on him at the end

Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
I have the same question. I had to start in last position behind all others including all GT3 (which also means big roll off delay). This cannot be based on results from last stint (as said in lobby) neither based on overall results. Needed 1 lap to pass all GT3 safely, at this time the leading LMP1 was already nearly 5.000 feet ahead.F4H Chrisupra wrote:Why was the lobbies in stint 2 based off of qualifying and in stint 3 there was 3 LMP cars put behind the GT cars? Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
Yeah it was really disappointing. It ruined the race for us from the get go. Giving everyone back that time would be great but I doubt you guys can do it.

Hmmm, well I've only put in the information I was given. It's all formula driven based on distance from the lobby leader so the distance given for you was obviously greater than that for Chris. I'll double check Cain's PM.
Re: Sebring 12 Hours Race Day Thread
Final stint will end at 2 Hours and not 1 Hour 45 mins like every event before, however the cars will all stop on track and measurement will be done in the same way as the stints today. No continuing on to end the race, as people asked for us to be more accurate with it.

Er, according to Cain's PM, Chris finished in 2nd, you finished 5th....
