Thanks for the clarification, it shouldn't apply that much at Le Mans as there's plenty of straights and viable places to get past and ultimately a longer lap so it might not apply mostly, however as long as no one does blocking a la Peugeot it should be fine?

i wouldnt worry about passing anyone when you have your 90% handicap

I cant find it anymore about half of the race no double stint due to time gaining back. That is a good idea, I think, but....
For the European that means we have to get 2 men ready in the middle of the night.
May I suggest that we do it after 8 hours? So we do it twice than?

Registration won't be for a month or two. Normally a few weeks before that there is a topic dedicated to "Driver Wanted etc."

I've just realised that this occurs on the same weekend as the British F1 Grand Prix, and as such some people may be attending that event. So, my question is, are these dates absolutely fixed, or is there a chance that the race could still be changed?

Race will still go ahead that weekend as far as I am aware

Hi all, new to this so one question. How do I sign up for Le Mans privateer?

You wait until registration opens Which will be about 1-3 weeks before the event itself in June.

i'm new to tora but i have race in other community's like VM.
i really want to do this Le-Mans race . but its kind of vage to me..

do i have to find a team?
how does it work as privateer? you have to run the full 24 hours alone?

Hey dude.

Well each team can have 1-4 drivers in it.
The race is split up into 12. 2hour Stints and the distance recorded is added up after each stint and most distance over 24hours wins.

There are a few teams already who are looking for drivers. (See driver advertising)

I am not sure if the race is taking in any new teams as this is round 2 of the TEC and I thought it was capped at 56 teams.
However joining a team will definitely be allowed.

TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
The second round of the TEC comes form the Circuit de la Sarthe as we compete in another gruelling 24 Hours of Le Mans over the 29th and 30th of June.

TORA 12 Hours of Silverstone
The 14th and 15th of September plays host to the TORA 12 Hours of Silverstone for the fourth and penultimate round of the TEC 2013.

TORA 24 Hours of Nurburgring
TEC 2013 comes to a close with the ultimate test as we compete in 24 Hours of the Nurburgring Nordschleife over the weekend of the 14th and 15th of December.
