1) Because we at XPR/Serpent Racing are always planning ahead, we would like to know if the upcoming ISCC championship is Europe or America? I figure Europe, since that is what it was last year.

2) Roughly when will the details be announced?

If we do 3 classes, why not do USCR a year early?


Top class of LMP. If you run LMP1 as well as LMP2, so be it.

Middle class of GTE. Its, well, GTE.

Bottom class of Rolex GT, which could be last season's Britcar GT (630pi sports cars).

it's difficult as, with the DPs i've used for 2.4 hours Daytona, they're only R3, and could barely reach R1, and if they do, not enough downforce, and too much top speed/horsepower, power to weight may be similar, but too many variables

why not try this

remember that P1 cars are no longer avail in NA. Next year it will be P2 cars.

However if I hear rumours correctly the upcoming ISCC season will be P1, P2 and GT, no PC or GTC this time around, which is making me think that it's ISCC Europe.

I am thinking you will have to run your registered number.

by my understanding #1 is reserved for 1st in LMP1; #2 is reserved for 1st in LMP2; & #3 is reserved for 1st in GTE. Since #4 is not a reserved number, 1st in GTC does not get any special treatment. Razz

Just on the basis of community feedback, we are currently in a big discussion about classes in Testing. Nothing is final and we are testing everything, so this discussion is just so we can see your feedback and opinions.

Would you rather see:

1 - LMP1 and GTE
2 - LMP1 and LMP2 and GTE
3 - LMP1 and LMPC and GTE
4 - LMP1 and LMP2 and GTE and GTC
5 - LMP1 and LMPC and GTE and GTC

Answers on a post card please...or in here, it saves money.

Personally prefer option 2 (LMP1,LMP2,GTE)

Reason being it would give more drivers in your class to race in each lobby (even if it is only one or two!!).

I assume LMP1 would be all the cars from TEC. LMP2 would be all those cars except the Diesels and Aston. LMPC would be the Oreca FLM09.

To answer Richy's question; LMP1/LMPC/GTE

last years GTC wasn't really a challenge class. It was essentially LMP1/LMP2/GT2/GT3. I would be inclined to have it LMP1/LMPC/GTE/GTC if the GTC car was just the Porsche Cup car or just the BMW Z4 GT3 if you were worried about numbers.

GTC is GT3 cars in ALMS yes its just Cup cars but in LMS in europe its GT3 cars still called GTC.

The GTC was used to bring in new guys into the formula and to act as a learning curve for them also it provided some epic racing at times also.
