Re: Miscellaneous Next-Gen Gaming thread
The retail package of the game is going to come with 1 month, but, from there on out it will require a $15 per month subscription.
Despite this I will be getting this game and paying for at least 1 additional month. Probably more if the game is decent enough. I figure I have put in enough time into this series to justify it.

Re: Miscellaneous Next-Gen Gaming thread
Elder Scrolls Online sounds/looks really good. I loved Skyrim and this looks very promising (being able to travel all around the Provinces of Tamriel is awesome) It should be a lot of fun on XB1, but that Monthly fee isn't as nice. I was definitely expecting the fee, just wishing I was wrong

Update coming to Xbox One this week, improving a bunch of stuff and adding a battery life indicator, but the biggest thing for me is that the update will increase the thumbstick sensitivity of the controller by increasing the sensitivity of their outer boundaries, so I'm wondering if this will effect driving in Forza

I would think so and hope it does in a good way, could just be my old age but I do find the new controller rather twitchy especially in FPS games.

Re: Miscellaneous Next-Gen Gaming thread
Anyone having trouble getting their Live services to work? It's either Battlefield multiplayer working, or Live working for me. Can't get them both to work lately.
Really frustrating.

Re: Miscellaneous Next-Gen Gaming thread
As awesome as No Man's Sky is it looks to be a long way off. This isn't though, and could be excellent fun!
Homeworld style RTS commands and gameplay but you can then take part and fly the fights yourself in the game. I want it. Oculus Rift support as well.

Reminds me of RF:Guerrilla. Fantastic physics engine, I wish they made more games like that.
Re: Miscellaneous Next-Gen Gaming thread
Still no specific release date for The Elder Scrolls Online on the consoles. June 2014.
However, you can play it on the PC as of today!
