Forza Motorsport 5 Track Wish List

How did I forget:

Norisring: if a track can make DTM exciting, imagine what TCC would be like on it.

Circuit Gilles Villaneuve: most exciting races in F1 and NASCAR seasons have happened there.

Willow Springs: the entire facility. Yes the tracks are a bit narrow, but would fill the void that the Sidewinder omission has left.

And speaking of historic venues: Riverside. Deadly fast, very technical circuit with some nice elevation changes and a nice variety of corners from 30 MPH hairpins to a wide sweeping banked right hander.

Really too many to mention for me but these are a few I'd love to see:

Apart from a few that some have already mentioned, a couple I'd love to see would be Shanghai & Sepang.

I also think Bahrain is a very nice track

how did i forget, image GT there, or ISCC
or how about Lakeside, was home to V8s in Queensland before Queensland raceway was used, and home to Australian F1 GP for many years, and drivers described it as one of the best tracks they raced on, both exciting and technically demanding

and if Forza is still the home of ALMS, then VIR needs to be on there

but more importantly they should aim the cars at some series events for example:

British touring car old and new
historic rally cars
ginetta juniors and pro
Honda legends
even some Lorries would be cool (you know they have to limit the top speed on these things)

would also like to see some additional damage, a tyre going flat or a wheel coming off.

might be nice to put vinyls on the glass and perhaps customise the drivers helmet, gloves and racing suit.

I've give mine a pink helmet (chuckle)

i know what they are, they were on V8 Supercars 3, agreed, great fun, but i was making a joke, American's call them lorries, because a Ute is a truck, whereas a lorry over here is a Truck, and a pickup is a Ute, as it should be

They're sometimes on Motors TV. Even the drivers look like truckers. The guy I saw win had the belly for one.

Reading these lists makes me wish T10 would offer them up as DLCs

Being realistic I think the following are good for FM5 either because they are in the franchise already, they are tracks desired by the community at large, they are tracks used by their competitors or they are tracks which match their tie in with ALMS and soon to be USCR.

This List!! though, Lime Rock has a few minor other variations, the one used in ALMS races is the most used. if i recall there was a layout with a 'bus stop' chicane near the top of the track before heading down hill.

Yeah think it's usable on the rFactor version I have.

I've put Donny and Brands on there but in all seriousness they're American developers and will be aiming the series at a market who simply won't have heard of some of those places. Sadly we will never, ever see Thruxton in a console game again
Unless pCARS really pulls it out of the bag, I wold reckon my list is probably a reasonably close approximation of tracks the devs would be considering based on their market audience, demand from the community and balanced with licensing issues, costings and current partnerships.
