Live timing showing blank for me, so just to confirm I'm out tonight as it clashes with N12 Qualifying.

Forza 5 servers down at the moment. Does anyone know why?

Entries for tonight's race now closed to allow admin time to prep for the race.

Qually was ok.  My time was showing at 1:04 something clean when I finished but was on the board as 1:05.  May well have been finger trouble.

Big problem was not being able to get into the race lobby.  Message was...

Apparently turn 10 are doing some updates and predicated that there may be online issues.

Sorry to all if you was waiting for me to join the qualy lobby tonight. My youngest daughters christmas play over run by more than an hour.

Apologies for disappearing at the start of Race 3 but my car was completely FUBAR'd after getting spun out on Lap 1.

Other than that the racing was pretty good, a promising start for FM5. This was my first competitive outing with the Thrustmaster - although the wheel is undoubtedly good there are some issues:-

1) Cannot look sideways - makes racing in cockpit view slightly 'interesting'   

2) Can't use the Xbox headset - I have managed to use it linked to the controller signed in as a guest previously but it wasn't playing ball tonight. I think it was something to do with the party/lobby jumping we had to do, anyway it's apparently not advised as it can interfere with the wheel. As such I was on Kinetic chat which is.........[Censored]!! I can hardly hear anyone and when people do talk during the race it makes my car sound disappear   

Still had fun though   

sucks I missed the race, but I had a class I couldn't get out of.

However, can't complain about the results! Great job guys!

In my view it WAS helpful to see what changes/workarounds we needed to do to run the racing, that should go towards improving future races here.

N12 Qualifying kept me out. Everyone was on it by the look of things, for a normal middle pack driver, I would've found myself lonely at the back today based on Qualifying times.

Found it incredibly difficult to jump back to Forza 4 though, and after 5 laps on the Nurburgring I still hadn't hit my stride. Just holding the controller felt strange.

I used this as a learning experience.with the pad. Still locking the brakes up on occasion.
but enjoyed the competion although i was not competative. Thanks for the race.
Forza 5 got a lot of potential just bring us the updates.

A fun night for me. Some good battles last night. Was behind Tubbi N Takumi for their epic side by side action...,for 3 laps. Very entertaining. Some dodgy driving at times but i put that down to it being a new game but mostly the car. Roll on next tuesday

Was a bit of a mixed night for me, I have to apologise to bg wumba whose 1st race was destroyed due to my inability to read the correct time.

He He, the dodgy driving was due to these minis being glued to the road one minute then sliding like a drift car the next, then add on top the racing space needed to battle without a wipe out, phew, it was close but he just pipped me on the last lap.
You will not be so lucky next time (evil cackle)  

Oh and then there was the first race with the racing incident that wiped out the top three spots (me in third yikes) car was destroyed but still finished sixth I think.

Took me half a lap to get over big hamish's massive massive rims, looked like he was on his way to tesco's car park to score himself a babe
