i know sound isn't everything, but i don't want to be racing, say, an F1 car, that sounds like a Tesla

If it had a way to edit the livery I would get it instantly, sadly it doesn't and the cars don't look right when racing, the Merc SLS GT3 has no design at all from what I've seen

so was looking at this, $180 for GT6 and Logitech Driving Force GT Steering wheel, and $225 for 500GB PS3, $405, for brand new game, console and steering wheel, i think yes!!!
so much better than $703 for new console and game that's not that great, plus another $300+ for a steering wheel...

Well, not that I don't think the PS3 is a console not to buy now but I think at this stage in the game I would save the money and put it towards a new console. That's just me though, I'be has a PS3 since day one.

Hopefully GT6 is more usable than GT5 was, however we never tried GT5 2.0 and it had a much better online system.

I know Forza does the 'same thing', but there's just nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a GT career mode on a winters Saturday, knowing you have sack else to do. It's just bliss. If racing games were phones, Gran Turismo would be Apple, and Forza would be, well... Nokia with Windows Phone!

I'll be picking this up tomorrow! Here's the intro, it's incredible! Polyphony just know how to do these!

The problem with the cinematics is that they flatter to deceive. You get all the wow factor and then have to race for a good while with a bloody Honda Jazz (Fit)!!
That doesn't really float my boat sadly. Though I'd like to try out the top end cars to see if they've improved the audio much. That's been one of the major problems for me. And even in the cinematic the audio used for some cars didn't match what they really sound like.

Seems to have two themes. The first part of it hinting towards Senna content, and the second part being a homage to the design involved with road cars (the thing with the clay is something I've applied to do at Jaguar next summer).
