TASCAR Lap Times

i know it's a while away, but though i'd start it early
post away

dnt know if its guna be tune or no tune but ill do a few laps tonight

well so far, it's tied up at the poll, so hopefully it tips in the favour of full tuning.
oh and
Sedona (tuned)- 30.086
Rd America (tuned)- 2:09.6
have no idea how to tune a NASCAR

try my tune for sedona in my sf. both cars will do low 29s

With my tune went 29.205 is that good?

at sedona?

infineon 1.13.7
sedona 29.235 with a 28.9 in it
all times are in a tuned chevy

Yeh I just left to go to out for dinner but ill get roud to it bud. I go high side on the entry hit the middle of the corner on the very low side and let it drift out to the high side

Remember to tune the car so it easiest to turn left

for Sunset Oval, gents!! bare in mind, beside the unique build for the track, there is also a 20% power handicap built into the lobby settings. this was how i was able to best-mirror the NASCAR lap times around Daytona with the default tunes.

besides that, 2 flying laps, and already at a 41.666 at Sunset (w/o the handicap)

is that for every race? or just the two sunset races?

just Sunset Oval. remainder of the calendar is the same as 'non-restrictor plate' tracks.

How many laps will the qualifying room be set to?
If the room is set to "Collisions Off" for Qualifying, couldn't everyone qualify at the same time?
This would save a lot of time.

Qualifying lobby is set to 4 laps. One out lap, two flying laps, cool down/scoring lap. Just like NASCAR does it.

Just to confirm the 20% handicap will be in place for qualifying and race conditions at Sunset Oval? I am hearing alot of lap times at sunset that are not matching the power handicap times. My times so far without 20% handicap-41.252 / with 20% handicap-44.241.

tom howd u like my tunes. i still need to adjust for power handicap. but they should be good

Pre-tune at Sunset I'm getting a 45.4, but there is lots of room for improvement.

I'm assuming that your lap times are with the -20% power adjustment.

Make sure you are setting the downforce to min. and the rear toe can be set to 0.0
You will need to adjust your Final Drive to where you are touching the reline at top speed.

No need to change the tire pressure for Sunset Speedway.

@Venom; You tune is good for Sunset, but needs adjustment for the -20% power.

i know lol there you go guys ill adjust it tonight. one of the best oval racers in the game said the tune is good.

Haven't tried it with the handicap yet but ran a 42:433 @ Sunset with your tune. That's typical for me, a few seconds slower than most. The car handles good I'm happy with it. Put me on your tune list!
