Good to see a few show up tonight for the qualifying practice. I will be hosting quite a few of these between now and tournament time, don't be shy these practice sessions are great for picking up pointers and for sharing tuning tips.
Updated times for Sunset with the 20% power reduction TomCat hit a 43.9xx in a Chevy with a wheel and I managed a 44.0xx in the Ford with a controller. I am sure another tenth or two can be squeezed out of them though in smooth hands Wink

DeweyTee, You need to practice in some of the "Practice Sessions" for this series. You might get some help on the racing line to use.
Your Sunset lap times should be closer to 41.4's with no handicap. With the -20% handicap, you should be in the low 0:44's

Tomcat, did you adjust the gearing for the 20% handicap? When I ran the same tune with adding the handicap the best I could manage was a 47:xx and it wasn't anywhere near the redline at the end of the straight. I'll try to join a practice session later this week. Right now got the NATCC and Spec Cup to deal with.

Dewey, when I get on later I'll send you the tune I have. I just have to make a tiny tweak. I'm only running 44.5's, but maybe it's just my driving.

Sunset qualifying is only for the Sunset race. You can miss Sunset qualifying, but you can start from the back in the race and still attend any future races.

Thank you sir. I DL'd your tune. I'm not doing 43.9's, but I did shave off .2 tenths off of what I was running on my tune with yours in place. I know a lot of it is my driving.

29.7 now in both cars around motegi with tune up in sf. tomcat was in there watching me. really wish this was on a day i didnt have to work. i may make an appearence or 2 for giggles.

The more i can run in traffic the better as i know this is going to be knife edge racing!

Are you talking about Sedona with that time? You ran a 34.7 on Motegi.
