They're running the cars to GT2 specs, which means any GT3 car will be hard to perform, as they're handling isn't as good, and their top end won't be there. So even if the cars were in the series, and balanced properly, they wouldn't dominate.

Staff has a team working on the MacLaren, Mercedes and Audi to see if they will fit in. We know that they are used successfully in real life, so we are trying to squeeze them in.

Otherwise the car list would be finalized.

I don't see any problem with the GT3 cars compared to the GT2, Apart from the Z4 and Mclaren which are grip cars there is no problem with top end for the SLS GT3, in the corners the Z4 & Mclaren are nearly better than all GT2 cars apart from the lambo

But thats my opinion

Dunno what GT2 cars you're driving then. Go on a track like Infineon, a grip and acceleration track, and a Corvette or Viper will out perform a Z4(even if it had max tire width). Despite the Z4 having better acceleration than the two. GT2 cars have much better aero grip.

I'm not saying that GT3 cars will be horrible though, they can still be competitive. But they won't dominate.

i just don't get why we couldn't use the cars for GT from last year?
the car list was great, and just tweak it a bit if needed
not taking anything away from the testing group, they do a great job, just thought it'd be the easiest and most time efficient way to do it

Im just down with anything thats reliable and good in the corners, as we all know corners are where consistancy is often broken, and Consitancy is one of the key things you need in my honest opinion

If TORA are going to try and go real with the car list. The BMW Z4 GT3,Mercedes SLS & Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 are in the britcar event & the nurburgring 24HRS. So in my opinion if you are trying to keep it real, The Z4, SLS & Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 are have to be in it, Texas the GT3 cars will not 'dominate' but might have a chance of winning or even a podium, its and endurance race anything could happen

You could fit most if not all the cars in if you went with the Season 10 GT specs rather than the ISCC GTE specs.

Personally I don't care if it's GTE or GT3. If the it excludes the Audi and McLaren I don't see the fuss. There are still a fair amount of cars for people to choose from and if the build rules are changed for the N24 I'm sure it will be for our benefit for better racing Smile

The Audi is too slow, the McLaren is likely too fast (you can tune this car to go faster than you think), and the Mercedes absolutely will not work. They are all best left out.

Wumba, the Season 10 GT cars were not nearly as balanced as the ISCC cars. You can go back and reference the season and it's complaints all you want. You can also look at the series drop outs where 200 + people signed up yet multiple people in the top 60 did about 3 rounds. I know I quit because there wasn't a good balance.
