When I first started the game with the update it took me to a new game, other than that the saves have been fine for me.

I'm kinda thinking about redoing my single player game anyway, did all my assassination missions before the end of the game so can't make a killing on the stocks.

Getting absolutely nowhere with online. I'm just gonna wait a few days now and then try again, not wasting my time staring at a blurred view of LS with a message saying "Launching Session".

There was a glitch with the tutorial because as soon as I did that the rest of the game was fine.

So I will start with the single player mode and be online after the bug fixes

step 1
delete any characters you created

step 2
dashboard and delete the GTA V Title update 59mb

step 3
reload GTA

step 4
on the loading screen make sure u hit A when you see the message at the bottom right say join online

step 5
create your character

step 6
confirm character and enter GTA Online

Step 7
Your Done. if it worked it worked. if it didn't im sorry. No need to dashboard a 2nd or 3rd time. just repeat steps 1-6
If it doesn't work well it's no use

Finally was able to start causing mayhem online.

I had to spend the time to roll out a new guy and it dropped me by the VINEWOOD sign (literally, I spawned about 30 feet above the ground). They seemed to have removed the "tutorial" that everyone got stuck trying to start.

The Tutorial is still there. This is pissing me right off. If they didn't have this god awful tutorial then we'd at least be able to get online. But no.

I think the issue is that so many people are being forced to do the same mission it's causing havok. Those that get past the first mission are generally fine...

I attempted twice last night to get online, I didnt care if I got online or not I just wanted to test it, at about 22:00 I treid and I was in a car park with 4 others with the with it just launching, stayed there for about 3 minutes (went off made a drink, let the dog out etc) come back and still on the same screen so dashbroaded it and went back to single player. Tried again before I went to bed so at about 00:45 this time was stuck on the blurred screen, left it for about two mins while I put the sitting room back to order.

Hmmm...

GTA V Online was launched on October 1, 2013; the same day the US Federal Government shut down and furloughed hundreds of thousands of federal employees. Somewhat suspiciously, the GTA V Online launch is plagued with issues due to an unexpectedly large number of people.

Coincidence? I think not!

What this means is that we can all now blame the US Federal Government for the GTA V Online launch issues.

But to be honest, it was behaving far better last night, could almost go as far as to say it was mostly working properly, wth an exception of the long loading times.
