Finnnalllly managed to get online Good stuff so far, won the first race by the skin on my teeth

Just remember, when you stop playing, exit to the story mode so it'll save your progress instead of just powering off/dashboarding.

I was joining someones game and the cloud server went offline and booted me back to single player, come back and poof gone, in addition there is proof that these occurrences can happen randomly without any such triggers.

yea it deleted my level 6 character, so I had to start again, level 33 now

If you try to start Online after it says "Cloud servers are not available" you will start a new temporary character which will be deleted when you exit Online.

The cloud servers store your Online character, so if you can't connect, you won't be able to retrieve your character. They must have made it so you can still play online with a temp if you can't connect to the cloud server.

Yeah i got online, one of my first experiences was using an ATM, exiting the ATM screen and INSTANTLY getting mown down by some knobgoblin in a Range!

Still, i lived, got up, grabbed a car and proceeded to chase and then kill him. #winning

One of my first online experiences was a seemingly endless battle against BG Beanz in which my controller died twice in the middle of.  Still do not know exactly how I managed to get away from Beanz and the cops.


My favorite part was when Beanz tried to escape by jumping off of the overpass.



Otherwise, ended up winning the first tutorial race by a large margin using the slowest car.

That was hilarious, one on one trying to grab a briefcase! Everytime i got it, i couldn't get the cops off me before i had you back on my ass.

Yeah, i thought sod this i'll take a chance with an overpass divebomb, it didn't work by the way!  

By the time i got back to you then, you'd lost the cops and i had no ammo left to pop your tyres, FAIL!

Last night was good, the servers seemed to work well enough and I didn't constantly get kicked out :PI found out that there are some car parts you have to win races to unlock, and there's also some cool tattoos you get for doing certain things.
