Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Just a love nudge! lolS2M Ranger wrote:I will be the first to say I tend to stay away from rwd as I suck driving them but after last night I'm loving this championship ;)ok I have had massive help from XPR Venom and my team mate Jabberwockies to get tunes that work for me but I'm able to race the ford boss and not wobble it round the track just trying to stay on the black stuff. I myself just wish the season was a little longer as before I know it its all over
Cheers mike for a great championship !! Great cars and great clean racers ( well bar my team mate nearly taking me out in the sprint race )
Ill definitely be left, and up for more of the same! Its a great series! thanks mikey!

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Unfortunately I couldn't make the last race, nor will I be able to join the next one (I work offshore and network speeds are not fast enough to allow online racing), but will definitely be there for the last races.
The XB1 will not be launched in the Netherlands (with Dutch support) until next March/April and as I have young kids (who need the Dutch language) I will have to wait... So please continue setting up 360 series!!
Have been practising on my next track, Sunset Club. 1:04.6 so far, but feel there is time to be gained taking a few more risks.

JRacer: lucky for you, Sunset is one of the better tracks for the 1971 Mach 1, as it was one of the quickest cars around that circuit in testing. Look forward to a good race with you there.
Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
I'll be around for a while on 360. I'll get a xb1 eventually but can't justify the price of one at the minute

I'll be using both machines. Until I can decide which wheel to get for the One, my racing will be on the 360.

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Hitting occasional 1:21.7s and 8s, but in my mock qualifying runs the best I can hit is 1:22.2. If there is a B Lobby, I will be in it most likely.
Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
1:23.395 with splits for a 1:22.9XX I don't understand how the hell I can lose 3 tenths to over half a second in sector three.

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
It depends how you take the last corner, i take a wide entry with a late apex to get maximum strait line speed, try it multiple times and find a line that suits you, and your splits will come closerWindcharger8199 wrote:1:23.395 with splits for a 1:22.9XX I don't understand how the hell I can lose 3 tenths to over half a second in sector three.

I'm stuck at 1:04.2s at Sunset. Did a 1:03.9 in the Javelin tune I did for Hurricane, but have yet to figure out how to hit 154 MPH in the Mustang.
Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Doing the same times bud 1:03.875s is the most I can get out off the boss

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Played with the diff, gears and aero and could hit 1:04.0s @ 153 mph for my PB.
Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
Must be the triple overhead manifold sproket fitted to our cars that is making a small difference

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
only hitting 1:05.6
no aero, dunno how to tune the tyres or diff to get more time, just gonna wing it
braking for the first section destroys my lap time!

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
^ No aero kills my lap times. I'd rather lose a couple MPH on the straight rather than sliding around the rest of the lap. Time spent stuck in the sticky isn't worth two or three miles per hour on the straight stretch.
Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Lap Times
I did a few mock qualifying runs, and I think I will qually around 1:04.3-1:04.6. Race pace is a bit better, as I can put two wheels off here and there.
No matters, as there will be one lobby and lots of passing opportunities.
