Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
I should have been more specific and said 5(onto)6 of race laps meaning 6(onto)7 of total laps.
If you pitted within the 1 lap difference I will probably let it off as its a communication error on my part and not down to the hosts, as long as people didn't pit too early or too late it will be forgiven.

After watching the stream back of the races, I think the commentators statement of me being under a bit too much pressure was an understatement. I needed a pacemaker after that second race!

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Haven´t had the time to comment on last sundays race but I´m here now
Regarding the organization, I think it went great. Apart from a few delays, which were not very big, I think that all of the stewards/hosts did an excellent job.
About race......... this was a hard weekend!
First race I got rear-ended! The second one was full of bad luck! For those who watched the stream, the reason I missed the start was because I lost power in my microphone (tell me about it)...... I did not hear the start time so I had to guess it from the rear-view mirror! (terrible experience). Managed to catch up and had some fun battles but I spun out (just a little) because of another rear-end crash.....
All in all, it wasn´t my best weekend but it sure was fun during its best moments.
I would also like to thank both sbiggs and AMR Garage and for all the other participants for the excellent footage and commentaries they did last sunday night! Hope you guys stream next race too!
Keep up the good work TORA!
EDIT: I was informed that my mic was acting up (while it had battery) and causing noise on the lobby which obviously resulted in distraction. It won´t happen again and I´m sorry for the issues.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
In terms of administration, I think that Silverstone went better for my drivers, but Hockenheimring was better in terms of results.
The mix-up with my driver (xl IC3Man412 lx) not receiving an invite was a bit of a frustration, but once that cleared up, everything went pretty smoothly It's too bad that my driver didn't get a chance to jump into a higher lobby, he's the faster of the two around Hock (usually, he forgot to record his best lap times, so we shall see).
I'm enjoying observing, and my drivers are happy to have a large racing organization to challenge them too. TORA is turning out to be a good investment for us, I'm glad to be here.
Crossing my fingers that next race runs smoother than Hock did lol
Thanks for the races, looking forward to Mugello.

If he signed up with the correct gamertag there wouldn't have been a problem buddy, nothing any of the staff could do

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Everything worked pretty well during Silverstone, he got in without a problem. It's just a mistake, not a big deal. My driver got into the race, and he was pretty happy with his results. All's well that ends well.
If something similar happens during Mugello, then I'm going to get him to go over his profile and entry info with a fine-tooth comb and he can eliminate any problems on his end. His GT *is* a little hard to read, though, so I would be lying if I said I wasn't expecting that to become an issue at some point lol

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Several of us tried to send an invite and NONE of us could get the gamertag to match what he typed, even trying different spaces ect to see if that would work either.
If we have an issue next round, and your driver doesn't receive an invite by say 7:15 PM, I suggest you ask him to check the Sign-in thread or main website for the LiveTiming sheet, find which lobby his name is next to (usually colour) and message the host in green next to that colour.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
It would be a lot easier if people had a quick look around 7 ish to the sign in thread to see who there qualifying lobby host will be, my qualifying lobby would of started 10 mins earlier as one person thought I was sending him invites to have a little practise while we waited for the qualifying invites.
If he had seen the green name of his lobby was mine he'd have joined straight away and I'd have been ready to on time.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
I usually have the Livetiming lobby order sorted by 6.30 and hosts designated by 6.45, what i'll do is on the evening after I close the sign-in sheet, ill post a direct link to the Livetiming in this thread so people can simply click on it anytime to make sure.
For anyone wondering that is here:
http://www.theonlineracingassociation.com/egt-live-timing.html
There will also be a copy in the same thread you signed in from.
