European GT championship. General discussion.

Well it wasnt all that bad took ages to start but we got there in the end and means i gained points over those that didnt race lol

lol it is kinda funky i might go abit more radical last race distract as many as i can hahaha.

Actually is ther going to be qualifying on nord..???

What a night, 1st race I'm kicking myself as with 5 laps to go I was pushing for 4th when I hit the sticky stuff at the top of the hill snd soo lucky the two guys behind didn't collect me. Probably needed some new underwear though haha.

Second was one of the most strategic races ive had, I overtook for first on the second lap before pulling a 2s gap to second. Knowing that the guys behind could go quicker if they weren't held up I pitted after them to get what I expected would be a 6th but somehow found the pace retook the lead after the pitstops. But had some great racing though

mark i had the same 6th corner hit the sticky stuff went from first to last in a sec lol im kicking myself as i had good pace and could have had two podiums. but had a great races jon mangaed to make that jag feel very wide and was a good battle to get past.

Good racing in D lobby. I would like to thank D lobby for making my first hosting gig an easy and enjoyable one.   

Thanks for hosting d lobby. It was smoth as silk and lag free and some good raceing

It was rather intimidating seeing three similarly painted Lambos in my rear view mirror. Was looking forward to battling them (that is if they caught up   ), but had to leave the race early to eat dinner.

i knew you had more legs than i did so i went in to all out defecive mode anf you had a lunge at me on the hairpin thank you btw for letting me back past no need for stewards there lol but like allways thought i was clean away built up a little gap sat back and made a mistake an like a tramp on chips you were there lol good fun tho

Yes, a good nite of racing in lobby D host done well. Got to say one of the cleanest races so far.

Fisrt time in lobby A and it was... interesting annoying lag spike caused a red flag but had a good scrap with one of the Ferraris. Second race was a bit dull; got mugged by what felt like half the field (and all of HCR Scuderia) and tried to jump them in the stops but no joy and didn't see another car all race roll on Nordschleife!

Me and tweek went at it race 1 great racing

Are we still looking at running nurburg in April instead of March 23 Cause of TEC Qualifying?????

Looks like it. I definately don't agree with it. I signed up knowing what dates this series will be run, I could race at all dates. I probably can't race on April 6th.

Already didn't like the idea about qualifying during the week, since I probably wouldn't be able to qualify due to school/work.

  

Ya the fact that this series is getting the crap end of the stick again doesnt seem right. The dates were planned before the TEC was even announced.

Agree its only 1 TEC Q as well there are 5 others as well plus we have ran TEC Q events same night as TCC, GT, ISCC races in past

Think I may give the last round a miss because of this. Its a disappointing end to whats been a great championship that I got my first 2 lobby d wins in I've had some great races with Hunty1981 and others . I hope to be able to make the new date but work may force my hand.

I don't mind running it on a Saturday
