2014 MSA TORA Sebring 12 Hours General Discussion

i still need 2 people to drive for my team and so far no dice.i think there were a few people that wanted to drive for a team,but they didnt want to drive a lmp car and if this doesnt happen then i would like to drive for someone in lmp.

I know it's just under a week until race day (would've finished 6 hours ago in 1 week) but I just want to warn whoever hosts the lobby (and other drivers in my lobby) due to my races being race start (midnight to 2 am my time) and stint 3 (4 am to 6 am my time) I will be anything but vocal during my stints as my xbox is about 4-6 inches of brick away from my parents room,
so I will need other drivers to notify passes and believe me that I have heard you because I wont be able to respond,

I will notify my lobby host(s) for both stints on race day, and ask him to let other drivers in the lobby know but just a heads up for all drivers

also, will the race be live streamed/commentated? was hoping (if there was streaming and an Allied Forces car in said lobby) to send Maranello Motorsport the link to the stream (and later YouTube) as they are very interested in watching an Virtual Sebring 12 Hour and so are a lot of the fans on their facebook page, so thought i'd ask

I'm happy to steam any stint that i'm not doing so that'll be 1, 3 and 5 if i get a capture card in time. But obviously it'll be down to the lobby host if he'l let me

streams no idea im not hosting the race so I doubt there will be any streaming unless simon confirms, plus my 360 in storage and this will be the last tec race myself and martin organise on the 360

Update from All American Racers:

Don and I have been busy on other things, and unfortunately, our hauler broke down on the way to the final Q session. Just Kidding, I completely forgot about this race.    

I, at least, still want to race. The AAR car will start at the back with penalty as per the rules. However, there are quite a few things to be sorted out before Saturday.

Few Q's:
Are there any teams on a reserve list for GTE?
Is the whole start at back of last lobby with penalty rule still in effect for no Q time?
Does being in this race have an impact on the 24 Hours of Le Mans, like last year?
What is the deadline for stints, entry changes?

Each round of the TEC will score towards the overall Teams Championship. Teams must use the exact same name throughout the entire TEC to continue scoring points

Is this still accurate?

No every round is a Stand-alone event, so no points or Data will be carried over to the next TEC round.

Is that still written in the Rules mate?

Just a question as i want to know before a fork out a lot of money, during stints that i'm not doing would i b able to join my teammates lobby to stream it through spectate mode?

yeah, it is under the TEAM STANDINGS section

That is correct Chris there will be a points data base based upon team name only for the first 2 round.

You can run diffrent car and class at lemans if you wish just team name to stay the same

Chris no do not edit as I Said above please ^^^ There is a a points for the first x2 rounds cheers but car and class can change just keep team name same

Ah I was unsure as I believed we released this years TEC as singular events, I wasn't aware anything carried over at all, Guess that's what to expect when iv been away for so long

HCR Traxxas is running a Ferrari and Lingenfelter Performance is running a Corvette. I believe The Flying Catmobile is running a Ferrari as well.

Flying Catmobile should be HCR Scuderia and they are using the ferrari

I could stream the first 3 but have work that night.
