2014 MSA TORA Sebring 12 Hours General Discussion

If this is referencing myself, at no point have I intended to or still intend to run the Event on my own, I registered the car with a driver line-up discussed, but because of my situation I cannot ask anyone to reserve their time for a car that is at risk of not making it, at the same time I would love to take part and have held the car with hopes, if the list is full I would gladly open up my entry so someone else may register their team. Since then people have noticed im still alone and would like to join in, so this should be resolved soon. - Hope this helps.

I signed up solo expecting notification if i could not ....i have aother drivers but was hoping to test my metal \m/

"Teams can consist of up to 4 drivers. Ideally you want the full four to make the 12 hours less challenging on yourselves and your consoles. Teams must drive in the same car throughout the event. This suggests that it is acceptable to run by oneself.

You cant run solo in a wec race end of updated rule to reflect this also I see no mention of no double stinting, believe this was taken out during N12 2014

No driver can race by themselves in a team for the whole race, they would need at least one team mate.

Double stinting is when a driver does 2 hours back to back. (ie 4hours)

Seems poopy because for three weeks i've been planing to run solo ... why did my reg get processed if it was invalid/why was i not notified up till now?

I dont know, a staff member must have made it valid thinking you were getting team mates.

TEC = TORA Race

Because you can add drivers to your team so no poopy, but No Single entrys will be allowed to race end of

Stints have not been looked at yet as there is still a while to the race

There are drivers looking for team mates suggest PM etc

rosoe get a teammate to do 1 stint at stint 4 since you cant double between 3 and 4. A little break doesnt hurt also.

Guys double stinting is allowed no rule states no double stinting or can some 1 point it if this is the case, these were reviewed before N12 2013 last year and after community feeback double stinting was allowed once more.

But you do require more than 1 driver so you will get a break some point

Sorry rogue. I keep forgetting that you took that rule out. I thought it was a fantastic rule so thats why i said that.

No worries was a good way resetting but lets hope drivers make sure connections ports open

Yes teams with only a single registered driver will be removed from live timing prior to race , and I validated your entry in the understanding that drivers were to be added.

CRA Castrol Doodleco Racing is one gamer tag and 2 drivers they ,have raced this way in all TEC events. Please put them back
