Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
I will just have to rely on a broom stick and wand to do well

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Cheeky your doing alright I can't get away from a 42.4 ever. I think B lobby will be the gti cup.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Down to a 40.2xx with a new build so I could tweak the gearing for here, could see a high 39 with a draft.

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
I have waved my magic wand over the pitiful engine in the Honda and have extracted a fantastic 10 HP more and with the smoothest drive I've managed in years pulled a 39.2. This was of course after plowing (a cheeky pun) into turn 2 exit wall what seems like a hundred times.
Steering or speed, not sure which is best

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Tubbi, i tried grip last night and ran exact same time to the hundreth and that was nearly 60bhp down on the other tune.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
I might go for the power setup just coz it sounds better with a fat exhaust on it, may even take it to Tesco's car park

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
I ran 22 Laps and got a 41.483 as my best time. Still a little bit of looseness in the car, but it gets tight off turn 2 after about 7-8 laps. I tried the high line but the car is wrecking loose up there so the high line is out of the question. Now all I need is for 5th gear to not bog slightly off turn 2 and I could get into the lower 41's maybe high 40's

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Seems I was barely dipping into the 45.8/9 range. Been a few weeks since I tested there, so I know what I need to do this week.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Seca, Spec Cup? I wish I was doing that race, as I love this car at that track.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Now that the three speed tracks are past, its time to get to putting some grip back into these little beasts. Each round has seen some topsy turvy points shuffles, and I am expecting much more of the same.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
As long as I can get top points for coming last!
My car is not doing well, for some reason it's handling like its got space saver tyres on!!
Got into this car coz it looked the most NAFF, should have picked the 94 Civic.

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
Most NAFF? That would be the Suzuki Llama. I really wanted to use that one, but it was just too slow at Sedona, Sebring, Sunset, Infineon, Maple and Road Atlanta.
Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
so it is the suzuki lamer then

Re: NAFFCar Lap Times
46.820 with current gearing. Ratios need to be shorter to get better accel off the corner. Car Handles B-E-A-Utifully around the short circuit with just two areas of braking. Turn 3/4 and Turn 1
