Am I missing something here

Long Beach has been added to forza 5, and it has been requested for it to be added to the calender.

Oh ok thought it might have been something like that not been on for a few days

Should of tested more cars before the season began, you want 5 pi we all want 5 pi

The Viper was the one car I posted on my twitch stream when originally building it that it only has one build. You need to really push the car to the limit because it has amazing grip with high power but weighs a bit more then others. TRL Mcualey has a decent tune on Catalunya board's should try get a few tips as he's currently on pace with Aston and Corvette times.

I didn't get a choice in which car my team were driving, so what would've been the point in testing the other cars?

yeah, that's the one Jono, 1 viper in A lobby that didn't race because it took all night and the rest in C lobby.   

There were Aston's and Nissan GTR's in D lobby, it doesn't mean they need a PI boost - they just didn't have the right build, tune or lap.

As a Viper made it into A lobby then clearly the car is quick enough for A lobby with the right build, tune and lap.

And A lobby took all night because the Xbox Live Compute (dedicated servers) went down for an hour just as we were trying to get the race started. As the other lobbies had already started we didn't really have much choice to persevere with it until it worked, otherwise it would have be 15 DNS's from A lobby.

I know MAGiC's already said as much but the answer does seem pretty simple - the guys in C Lobby need to speak to the guy who made A Lobby and see what he did differently. The car is obviously capable of competing at the front.......something else must have been holding back the other Viper's on the night

so no-ones open to feedback or alike about the Gt's. I'll keep stum

What's winning or losing go to do with car balancing? Balancing is about making sure the cars are equalised in performance, not manipulating the race results to favour different drivers or teams. 5 different cars (Aston, Nissan, Mercedes, Viper and Corvette) in the A lobby would suggest the balance is working, no?

a suggestion, because the viper is a one build car, Did I mention anything else dude?

How is replying to your post 'jumping on your back?' (did you expect no-one to reply?) - you asked for 5 extra PI for the Viper and I'm struggling to understand why you think that's necessary when the same car went 2.8s faster and made it into A lobby  

All I was trying to get at is that you cant do nothing to the viper. It IS a set build for this car. Cant use a race transmission because its too much pi, cant use tyre widths because of the pi. If staff and everyone else don't think it needs extra Pi, fair enough. I was just saying.

That's cool man, I'm sure the staff will keep an eye on the balancing throughout the season to ensure parity between the cars is being achieved. I've found tuning is far more effective on Forza 5 than it ever was on Forza 4 - rather than finding a few tenths, there's seconds to be found (went from mid 2.08's to mid 2.06's at Silverstone with re-tuning the car!)

yeah, I've noticed a massive difference in the tuning from FM4

Just quickly jumping on the Viper it was originally at A700 but it was somewhat dominant and the fact that its a heafty leaderboard car that needs to run no aero (so im told) we dropped it too A695 we as a collective felt it was good enough over the course of the season , but as pointed out a Viper did infact make it into A lobby on round 1.

also bare in mind that this is our first major season on FM5 so we are still learning ourselves but i do assure you that come mid season things will be re looked at and altered if indeed needed .

^This is exactly why I made such a statement at the start of the Season regarding car balance over the course of the first half of the season. As Trash said this is our first FM5 series using a variety of builds and rules where we have a mixture of car classes. It will be monitored. It has also only been one round out of ten, so let's see how all the cars fare together for a bit before any decisions are made.

Regarding Long Beach I am not sure it will be made into a part of the season as we have now started, although we may consider putting it on as the final track of the season to give everyone a chance to get used to it first. If it isn't in Season 11 then it will be in Season 12.
