Great race guys, I'm so pissed about the screwed up pit-lane but despite all that it was a fun race. Can't wait for next round (and for the second Sunset round)

Both Segments were amazing, especially when we got 5+ car packs flying around. Way different than last year's two car tandems.

But I feel for the guys that had misfortune today. Great driving from everyone regardless. See you guys next week.

Glad I got third in the end but I shouldn't have with the incident at the end, not pointing fingers at all, but being 5th with 5/6 to go and 2-3k ft behind 3rd wasn't on the cards

I was hoping to get on the tail of Bluejaber and Soundwave but had to go to the outside of Corey on the restart and lost the draft

i basically caused "The Big One" in the first half, and what happened between Chaddy and myself was my own misjudgment. i think the Rookie Stripes should've been on MY car today.

I think the "Big One" was both of us bud.

But it was a different style of racing for a lot of us I think. Great call on the power handicap, I think lol

But we all have off races mate, Hailfire had a similar problem after the restart, yeah they're a bit of a pain but it's racing and it happens and I know I sound like a broken record but all we can do is focus on next week
New track, new week, new game

Have to say im gutted with last night!! Did well in stint one battling for 3rd until i took a slam draft, the damage caused me to lose 5-8mph on every exit. Thought 5th would be a good spot to start stint 2 again was running well until Mario went low so i stayed high and someone hit the wall infront of me, nowhere to go but into the wall with em causing similar damage to stint 1 no speed on the exits.

This message will be posted on VM as well as here seeing the same thing happened in both races. This is my opinion as these events have put a serious bitter taste in my mouth.

Oval races on FM4 have no business being limited damage. The cars are too close together and lag spikes happen far too often. Literally every single race. I had a total of three races on the same track through TORA and VM. The first race on TORA I won with no collision damage. The second race I was up front and had my car destroyed from lag and lag only. Not one percent of damage came from actual race contact. The only race on VM had me and three other drivers out front bumper to bumper when the first lag spike happened. That destroyed my car along with multiple other drivers. Again, no actual car on car race contact. I proceeded to drive as everyone else did with damage until the second lag spike hit yet again. At that point...it was too much. A total of six people finished the race at VM and almost the same at TORA as far as percentage of drivers goes. How can this be tolerated? Why do we continue to choose to have races and driver series ruined by lag? Having cosmetic damage would have had absolutely no impact on the actual race other than everybody finishing...happy. I'm sure I'm not the only one to give up family time to participate in these series so when the race and or series gets ruined from avoidable lag...it makes me incredibly frustrated. I've said this time and time again...damage on FM4 couldn't be further from simulation and when you throw lag into the mix...it simply just ruins races. Make the oval races cosmetic and limit safety cars...simple solution and everybody wins or atleast finishes. Using the excuse that people drive careless with cosmetic damage is a transparent point. People are expected to drive per site rules regarless of damage settings. That is why we have steward inquiries. It's pretty clear that lag has far more impact on limited damage races than cosmetic has on careless drivers. Atleast with cosmetic damage, people's races aren't ruined by the careless driver.

Having said all this...considering there's only one drop round and this will most certainly happen again, I'm just not up for ruining my attitude on organized racing and that is exactly what will happen. I may or may not be in the following races unless cosmetic damage is implemented on oval races to improve overall driver satisfaction.

Truly saddened by this as I had a great chance to win the first race on both sites.

I think I do, Obviously I'd love to be able to continue with damage on but without lag, but seeing how that's never going to happen that all it does is screw people over. My race was ruined also at Sunset due to the laggy as hell pit-lane and i too had a chance of winning
