Re: Forza Horizon 2
A long-awaited weather system will also make its Forza debut, while Forza 5’s Drivatar system is also being adapted for Horizon 2.
the game will take place in gorgeous Southern Europe, leading to, in Fulton’s words, “incredible diversity” and “amazing vistas.”
Extensive improvements and features are in store for Horizon 2, which IGN will showcase throughout June

Re: Forza Horizon 2
To me its just a big kick in the balls especially to those that bought fm5 with all the flaws in it etc, however it does look good from the pics i seen and my guess is its been aimed to rival ps 4's drive club

Re: Forza Horizon 2
I hope this one doesn't have such an emphasis on festivals and is more similar to TDU1.

Re: Forza Horizon 2
Yeah I prefer the Europe setting to Colorado, hopefully there'll be some great mountain vistas and bayside marinas and whatnot.
Re: Forza Horizon 2
I have to say if it delivers I'll be interested in picking it up. The first one was ok but there was nothing that kept me wanting to play it. In my opinion the way to keep people playing games now is to have good multiplayer. Glad it's coming to the 360 as well, there is still a big market for the "old gen" consoles. Nice to see it'll be set in Europe, we should see some nice mountain/forest roads.

Re: Forza Horizon 2
Horizon 1 was amazing and worth playing a lot with a proper wheel in my opinion, but then when my CSR Elite pedals decided to go all b*tch tit on me, I had to go back to my controller. Then the game became dreadful to play, and was absolutely boring.
Lets hope its not the same case with H2

Re: Forza Horizon 2
Will not purchase this at all and purely because of the way FM5 has turned out. I'm not lining their pockets with anymore money what-so-ever

Re: Forza Horizon 2
Horizon was great for like a week or so, but with an open environment and no cops.. It started to loose it playability, lack luster story and sub-par DLCs. Nothing to keep me engaged after that initial excitement of something new wore off.
Surprisingly held its value when I returned over 6 months later..
I'm looking forward to see if they actually made a game that can satisfy and last. And maybe Playground Studios listened and learned from Horizon better than Turn 10 on Forza 4...

Re: Forza Horizon 2
Duncan, what if I told you, you can buy more than one game at a time?
Horizon isn't made by T10 so it'll be interesting to see how it is in regards to Forza 5. It'll also be interesting to see how it utilises all the "next gen" nonsense, which was holding back Horizon 1 in terms of map size and things like that.
I doubt they'd ever put cops or a NFS-like story in it, as Forza is more about driving and not action like NFS, although a police thing online might be cool to see.

Re: Forza Horizon 2
I honestly hope they put in some things from H2 for FM6.
When H1 had Day/night, moving characters and off road, I expected FM5 to have Day/night, a pitcrew, and rally. Which didn't end up being the case.

Yes good games.........which means only 1 game lol
Re: Forza Horizon 2
I don't expect it to be like NFS, but if it has a real world setting. A Cop thing just makes sense, nothing action-sequence or smash oriented, but at least something to give it that feel.

Re: Forza Horizon 2
European festival... Does that mean the game will feature more British twats with fake Ray-Bans and saggy vests shouting things like ''top lad'', ''lad points'', ''banter lads'', etc?

Re: Forza Horizon 2
I'll be keeping an eye on this. I did enjoy the first one for it's characteristics. It was different and maybe not as good but I loved the setting, views and graphics. To be honest, can't see why people are bashing it over FM5 when that is a 10x worse game.
Re: Forza Horizon 2
I'll get it. It was a nice bit of casual relief in familiar Forza surroundings last time and the rally add on was ok.
If its in Europe at least we have the potential for things like the Stelvio Pass, the awesome parts of Italy and Spain. Monaco maybe?
