The Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 is built on the Forza 5 engine, led by Playground Games. The Xbox 360 version is built on the original Forza Horizon engine, and is led by Sumo Digital.

screenshots are pretty impressive i do have my fingers crossed that they nail the weather effects.

I gotta say I´m rather excited about this. I always wanted a proper TDU alike game. This looks like it.

Pictures look amazing - so does FM5 - and the weather effects are pretty sweet, but I haven't seen mention of night time? I assume it's there from the first game as it wouldn't really be Horizon without it.

Reading some of the review on IGN - Says you can drive from the base of the alps to the sea in Italy, France and the streets of Monaco!

I cannot stand games like this. But if they get weather and day/night right and then its not in FM6 someone needs shooting, same developer or not

TDU>TDU2>FH1 - my opinion

FH2 will squeeze somewhere in there. if properly executed, might be to the far left.

Hm, I liked TDU2, but it needed to cut out all the cosmetic surgery, haircuts and dress up [Censored]. Open world driving games are really good when executed right.

i very much enjoyed both TDU's, but the avatar thing in TDU2 was unnecessary. and the ability to 'lock' onto players was buried in the menus and kinda broken (i could never stay 'locked' onto anyone) compared to its predecessor.

I hope this delivers more than FH did
Might hire it from the video shop when it's released to see how it is before buying

Eh.. tough call on this one if I consider it.

For the 360, It would have to be to play with others.
For the one, pretty pictures to tease folks with.

Not getting both.

The first one from my opinion would of been brilliant if playing with friends, at the time i didnt know anyone who played it so just did the sp and the rally, i think this could be the best forza on xbone yet if done properly although there timing couldnt be worst with pcars coming out soon after

 

Looks great on the Xbox One but it should be interesting to see what the game looks like on the 360.

Well it uses the Horizon 1 engine on 360, so I imagine it would look like Horizon 1 really.

Has anyone noticed these two screenshots look like the Camino homespace on FM3?

yep guys this may be a reason 2 upgrade 2 xbox 1 from 360

It would be awesome if they could incorporate a circuit or two in there. Like how TDU2 did, even if it is Camino
