Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Things are heating up at the top of the driver's championship with 3rd, 4th and 5th only separated by 7 points!
Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
The racing has been great, now its up to me to pull my head outta me bum and remember how to drive.

The championship is only led by one point.
Serious face on for the last one.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
One week left of this wild experiment.
And Road Atlanta has the toughest alternate route of the whole series.
Good luck everyone.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
yeah it does Mike. the exit angle on that is SUPER ridiculous! it's a complete hairpin and the difference in speed between those taking the joker and those not will no doubt cause a crash or two as you can power past the entry with ease if you're taking the joker, whereas if you have a standard lap you need to brake hard for the entry. We're all gonna need to be on our toes and have our wits about us to make sure it doesn't become an SI-fest. Also, can I make a small request that we keep the grip handicaps relatively low for this one because the standard lap will be nigh on impossible with (e.g.) 75%/15% like we have experienced before...

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
I think really hard handicaps won't be good for this track, The areo on some of the cars are completely taken off so it is also dangerous
Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Totally agreed with keeping the grip reduction to a minimum, although considering the pugs are better with a higher grip reduction I should be voting for that.
good luck everyone and remember to call out your joker in plenty of time to let the guy following you with a choice of wiping you out or not.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Handicaps have already been discussed
As for the joker lap we ask all drivers on standard laps to leave a lane if possible for others. Its a tricky one but if we're all smart about I see no problems.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
One thing I have been doing all season is keep track of distances of those around you. It makes no sense to me to take a Joker lap that would put me in the middle of harm's way, rather I tend to take the Joker lap at a time that quite takes me out of harm's way.
Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
I doubt my performance will differ from previous weeks. Again, no practice, so I will suck horribly in Heat 1, a little less suck in Heat 2, then figure things out midway in the Feature.
Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Not me! I changed to normal steering and actually keep it on track! Still going to be B Lobby because I drive too conservative

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Well done everybody who ran and succeeded in a very fun but very difficult championship!
Sadly I just fell short of the podium myself in the Automotive Workz Polo, but I like to try and find some positives so I'm happy being Top Privateer and Unless I'm mistaken Top NON-PLOW tuned car

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Damn it! If we had missed any of the rounds, we would have been close for third in Team Points!
