Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
The races won't be about lap times really.
More about getting to handle the car and drift a lot.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Nobody has bothered with lap times, too busy trying to stay near track limits.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
1/32 scale? I did that for years.
When I was 15, after wining a few 1/32nd scale races, the local track owner sponsored me a 1/24 Group 15 for the Parma World Championships. Out of 64 entries from US, Japan, Germany, Britain, and Brazil, almost all raced by adults, I finished 3rd.

Hey folks,
I'm Red Bull GRC's social media manager... just wanted to pop in and say I think it's awesome what you guys are doing here. Will definitely keep my eye out for this and who knows, schedule permitting I might try to pop in for a race or two.
Apologies to anyone who tried to watch the Motors TV broadcast—apparently the French feed has the races but the English one does not. I'm US-based so I'm trying to track down info. In the meantime you can head to Red Bull TV and watch all nine of last year's NBC race broadcasts on demand whenever you want. I do know that Motors TV is planning on showing all of these broadcasts eventually... just working on finding out a date.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
That is awesome.
I'll check the races tonight, hope they are also available in The Netherlands.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
Yeah I was wondering why MotorsTV UK had advertised GRC but put a programme on instead about the Top Ten Rally cars of all time

Agreed on that. It is such a heavy car, the problem is that you can't get the power from the car to pull its own weight. But, that is probably my fault on the build side but nothing else fits the bill.

I have raced under the Redbull banner many times and hope you like the livery on the car this time around, I raced a similar livery in our ever popular Touring car championship that you should also have a look at.

ATP Wheelwash wrote:I been having a bit of a YouTube session today and being a massive fan of RallyCross in the 80's and 90's, in particular the Division 2 days when the Group B Rally cars found a new home and it felt like every Scandinavian was born with a right foot made of lead. I was a Martin Schanche fan and to celebrate how good he was, i have popped up a clip where he wasnt racing, lol. It was a good 'A Final' though, especially as Olle Arnesson was his usual self, that man must have kept the Audi body panels department in business through the 1980's.
Commentary from the god like creature himself, Sir Murray Walker and check out the safety precautions on the final lap of the 'A Final' on the Start Finish line.
Mr Wheelwash.
It is sacrilege to attach the 87 season without mentioning the 88.
1988 was the infamous year of the Martin Schanke in the RS200 Vs
matti Alamaki in the Peugeot 205Ti16, war was definately on the cards.

Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
That would be too late for many... best case is that you catch the B Lobby Feature after missing the qualifying heats. But even then I am rather unsure how far along the program will be by the time you get here.
Re: welcome to the TCR GRX
I will be about 10 minutes late due to finishing work at 10, would it be fine if some one held qualy or would it be the same situation as Nova?

You could well be on by the time things actually start, or at least before the second Q heat starts.
