Makes sense. Then there would be a set rule in place to what happens in the event that Microsoft has issues that make a race unable to be run.

Cancelled events are just that. In the real world, if the race doesn't happen, points, trophies and prize money are not awarded. Simple as that.

However, if you wish to postpone this event to a later date, then you have the choice to either re-run qualifying as this event never happened or continue with the race in grid spots from this week's q session.
