Most of my mates from karting are in FRenault now

Seeing as we had no thread for Donny, I have changed this thread to make it the BTCC 2009 thread. And I will bring up the news that Racing Silverline are to run a third car from the next meeting at Oulton Park, as reported today by MSN, for a 'promising young driver.'

the Euro Supercopa cars have more power than an S2000 car, so we might see him do well-ish?

oh and if any of you know what song it is that they play during the grid order announcement, could you let me know? it sounds like an old house song from the early 2000's or late 90's...but i cant remember...

I've noticed they play the first two songs off Prodigys new album alot, but Im not sure the actual song played at that time. Could be a chance its one of them. "Invaders Must Die" or "Omen"

Its Invaders so far as I can tell... will double check later.

WTF!?!?!?! I like Dan Eaves. That sucks. Dynamics get rid of bloody Pinky NOW NOW NOW!!!! And put a good driver in the car. Or else!

Dunno how to feel about this.

Gutted for Dan Eaves. He's a class act and has been desperately unlucky. But I imagine he's been fed up of CVR putting Jones first when he's the one who's stuck with the team and helped get them on the grid. 5 races - few of which he got to really compete in - and he's back on the scrapheap.

Not fair.

But then I'm ecstatic Shedden is back. At the start of the season, before Shedden was confirmed with Dynamics, I said I could see him in the CVR Leon. Shedden is a top touring car driver, he deserves to be running at the front in a competitive car, and I hope he finishes in front of Thompson this weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I like Thompson, but it would be a two-finger salute to Steve Neal for the way he dumped Shedden.

I need my fix of Thommo at Knockhill! Thank god he is still there for Knockhill!

I have to say im dissapointed (especially since Pinkney is still there even though he is Nelson Piquet Jr levels of shocking)

They would have had to get rid of Thommo next year anyways i suppose since Matt Neal is gonna need to go back to "Daddy" to get a ride for next year with Vauxhall's Demise....
