Perhaps, but it means one of three things.

Either they're pulling out, or they've signed a deal with another manufacturer to run their cars (Kia/Volvo), or they are going to run another car if they can pull together sponsorship.

At the end of the day, the Vectras are three seasons old - Chilton, Giovanardi and Menu ran them in 2007. They're selling htem on the same way they sold on the Astra Coupes and Sport Hatches.

And general, thanks, I wanted to know if the vids were available overseas. If not, how do you get to see them?

Precisely, he ran the 88 car, I think that may have been Alan Gow taking the mickey from triple 8.

He and Chilton both suffered punctures in race 1 gifting Plato a second place behind Gio, and keeping Plato in with a shout of the title, which, alas, wasn't to be.

KIA in the BTCC would be hilarious. Although the cee'd is quite a nice looking car tbh. And I doubt there will be any manufacturer teams next season since the woul he the only one now that VX is pulling out.

Yeah, agreed, I think we're going to go all independant next season.

Hmmmm, rumours of Tom Coronel driving in the BTCC perhaps returning then? He is out of budget for the WTCC... and he happens to race for GR Asia...

Touring Car Times say Tom is trying desperately to get the funding together to run at Okayama and Macau. Doubt he'd spend what money he has on the BTCC when he has made it clear he wants to continue in the WTCC.

Autosport are saying that Gio has been in talks with the works Chevrolet team to return to the WTCC in 2010. Gio hasn't denied this, stating his desire to drive for a manufacturer team.

Bye-bye Fabrizio. Will he depart the BTCC as a three-time champion?

Never been a fan of him, or the way that he just uses the front of his VXR to knock people out the way. Him and Neal are as bad as each other nowadays and Collard is joining them.

I get BTCC is contact, but I don't appreciate when Drivers just knock people out of the way under braking or mid corner when there is no need or if there is plenty of space.

fair does, I wouldnt go as far as saying hes as bad as Neal where thats concerned but i get what your saying.

I just enjoy seeing his racing and amazing speed. And anyways were gonna need somebody to stop plato walking it next year and i just dont see that person being Turkington.

I would be delighted to see Plato win next season. He's tried so valiantly over the years, and just lost out on numerous occasions. I think he deserves it. The guy is a legend.

Hell, I hope he wins THIS season, as unlikely as it is!

He gets a lot of stick, but I think people mistake his racecraft. He's clever, he uses a lot of little tricks that work very well, and he is very driven. I'm a huge Plato fan, so I want to see him win.

Of course, if Shedden returns...
