CQR MAGiC wrote:Dont try and get clever, you said let's take the VAG Trophy as an example of teams using drop rounds to win, there was only one team that won that, so we know exactly what you were referring to. Again. Anyway I'll say no more I've made a formal complaint against you.
*cough* 2 Teams won it *cough* had to be said sorry haha

Drop Rounds are arguably the best thing TORA have EVER put into a Series, how do 1 know 1 day imma get Ran over by a Bus and not be able Compete in 1 week Race *Yes highly unlikely* but stuff happens everyday not all of us can be there every round, none of us know if a family member will fall seriously ill 1 day or ya self, Drop Rounds are the way 2 go if people dont agree with that, u obviously dont have Commitments and are Very Secure that none of your family Members will fall Ill around that time Slot, not causing arguments im stating FACTS!

Get me in Trouble, i couldnt care less tbh, ill speak my Mind and if we put the drop round discussion back, it will not get noticed and will not be discussed about, we as a COMMUNITY do not get told if its been talked about or if our Suggestions are good, alls we get told to do is "Shut up" well this time we need to be told exactly whats going on if ur going 2 LISTEN 2 there COMMUNITY and give what the Majority wants!!

That's what happens if you call people cheats
My only note on the matter: I think everyone's mentioned my exact thoughts on this. This isn't our full time job, and we must be aware this is a game, a recreational pastime. If people know they might be doubtful for a round they may not bother, or drop out early.

Let's keep this civil guys.
Enough needle for now. I have said we are talking about any changes. Nothing will be announced until after the Brands tests this weekend.
So, until then, look forward to the weekend, enjoy your pre-season testing and let's get on with it.

I think I'll just go to Silverstone to watch some professionals do it rather than myself trying to handle the GT3s.

Family members being seriously ill, Mmmmm I could tell you a story about that mate and what happens when you take leave for just over a month
Drop round should come into play because its almost guaranteed that part way into the series it will be decided the series needs a dropped round and if its added once the series has already begun then that one subject alone will cause a shed load of problems and very annoyed community members. As suggested earlier by someone... Staff create a poll and let the community be the deciding voice instead of trying to replicate a real world event.
Just voicing my opinion as I'm entitled to like any other community member on TORA.
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
Right as I escalated this id like to stop it now as I stated in my comment that sparked it off it is only my opinion if people take it wrong that is not my fault I'm not apologising to anyone nor will I retract my comment if people are going to take it wrong and reply there is nothing I can do about that(but please don't judge my ability to do things on here) I myself put the comment it was as once again only my opinion I am entitled to an opinion and that was mine...now I myself will be stopping the debate about drop rounds and work with the staff to make this a great event...up to all of you how you take my comment this I only my opinion..I REPEAT MY OPINION.

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
I'd like to see some sort of compromise...
IF there is a "Drop Round", which ultimately rewards the fastest 99% of the time...
How about a "100% participation" bonus for those who actually show up every week, often at the expense of some family function or missed sporting events?

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
With the game being in its current state I see it only sensible to implement a dropped round. Don't want a championship to be decided be a lag spike or a game crash/freeze. Adding a dropped round would make this scenario far less likely.
