Could someone please tell me how are the rolling starts meant to happen ? last time I checked it was no overtaking until the start finish line then just after the start finish line we go ? or am I wrong ?

In formation until the leader calls the green which would be when they reach the start line.

Are the races 15 laps as it states in the calendar?

So what if we were past the start finish line and the leader is still going out lap pace ?

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
could someone tell me how people in A lobby was running little to no down force at Silverstone and SPA at still was quick in the turns ? in real racing Silverstone is a high down force track because of the high speed turns and for BAM Python to say " I am running no down force " and he was still quick in the turns..... how ? well part from bad game mechanics I can not think off anything else.

The car is slower in the corners on low downforce.. He's just driving it better

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
So in real life GT racing at Silverstone it is high down force and teams will run with as much wing as possible and yet in PCARS you can run no down force and get away with it ? makes 100% sense

think we've all been fooled into thinking pcars is accurate just because it's harder/less predictable than forza

Guess I'll pack away my mock Porsche GT3R made from Plywood. Bugger! Swore having all the gear and no idea, gave me at least half a second off my times.

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
Brands should be a great race. If it's anything like the real round last weekend it'll be bloody fantastic!!
I've actually been doing practice for this one an' all

Silverstone isn't a high d/f track really. Very few slow corners there. You definitely need the straight-line for Wellington Straight, Becketts and Hangar Straight at the very least. That and because it is so open and quick slippery cars will always do better there.
I think the only thing to negatively affect cars there is cross-winds which obviously aren't an issue in game.
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: General Discussion
Down force helps mid to high speed corners

err... Matt you do know what you just said right ? "Silverstone isn't a high down force track really" Silverstone IS a high down force track in F1,WEC, and gt3 racing... and yes Silverstone is not a full down force track but it is no WAY a low down force track... Silverstone is a track witch you need a good amount of down force and anyone who says otherwise does not know what they are on about.
