Silverstone 500 Thread

Remember teams only need enter one driver to qualify their car. Privateer entries are able to either iron man the race or bring in a sub to help.

**NOTE START TIME IS 19.00 UK NOT 20.00 AS NORMAL**

General set up
Standard BGT Set up rules apply with the following changes;
- Race length to be set to 42 laps (44 racing laps + rolling start + warm down lap)
- Race time stint 1 set to 15.00
- Race Weather TBA
- Qualifying weather: Sunny
- Tyre wear OFF

End Condition changes
- At the completion of race distance by the leading driver, host will call the flag.
- All other drivers will then complete the lap they are on. Once across the line there must be NO passing.
- Drivers will form a queue in race finishing order in the run up to the Loop. (Turns1-2)
- Host will pause their game once everyone is stationary and collate data.

Data that will be gathered:
Driver - position - laps completed

This means that drivers can be re-ordered for Stint 2 accurately.
At the completion of the race - positions will be recalculated and final positions advised.
This does mean that there is scope for GT3 cars in the bottom lobby to end up much higher if they have a clear run and others have incidents to contend with!

Please also note that points are awarded TWICE in this race. This is for positions at the completion of Stint 1 and at the completion of Stint 2.
Privateers may 'iron-man' the race or they may draft in another driver to assist them.
If the driver already competes in the championship points will still be awarded to both drivers for both stints.

Basically, a three hour hot lap session?

I agree, its not going to provide any endurance at all. I am in the Z4 and I haven't counted any problems. but Tyre Ware being off is not what I was hoping as tyres pay a big role in endurance racing

Can't please everyone, but I'm here to say the problems do exist and this is the answer. Tire heat will still be an issue as will fuel load, which is more than we've ever had on Forza, so that will have to do. Can we pleeeease leave it at that?

How are we figuring out the time it took for people to finish? Wouldn't it be easier to do it like we did for Pro GT on FM where we finish the race and get a picture of total time?
