Some testing times from last night

HCR Hamish - LMP1 - 1.29.9
HCR Bellmond - LMP1 - 1.30.3

1:44:6 in the dodge viper now with splits for a 1:44:2

Barker 1:44:7 these were also from last nights tests alongside Bellmond and Hamish just to see how traffic would work also

I'm really struggling for times herr. Normally I can form a decent enough tune to make me there or thereabouts with the front runners, typically within a second or so. But I can't even get out of the 1:45's in the Corvette, the best I think I've done is a 45.3. Anyone got any tuning advice they could offer for this track?

Ask DizzyCupid519 or The British 1st for their setups, they're currently running around 44s

Check out the tunes LMR Ascari and I have posted, too. They're both capable of a 43.9.

Day: 43.0 Bentley, 43.3 Corvette, 43.6 Ferrari, 43.6 McLaren, 43.8 Z4.
Night: 44.2 Bentley, 44.4 Corvette, 44.9 Ferrari, 44.7 McLaren, 45.0 Z4.

Them 5 seem to be close (Bentley is just a monster tho) Z4 you have to really push in the corners. But all feel great to drive now i have tuned them.

At least the GT runners had some non-DLC options.

valid point, not much you can do really. Wish there was a ballast system in addition to handicaps but I don't think we'll ever get that from a forza game

When we picked it nobody was in it and that was the reason we picked it, bit too much effort to change now though

Unfortunately, it's the car that makes sense that is going to get picked. For us anyway, it's a no brainer what cars to go with once we've done our testing. We want to pick other cars but they are taken off the table because they are not smart choices

And actually, the only way to address this is by setting out a mandatory set of pit stops in GT. I don't think it is required for LMP because it's all about strategy. We can see what you guys are thinking with regards the car choices and laptimes which I think is going to make it very interesting. Some LMP cars going faster but pit more so let's see if they can claw the time back. I think that's fun.

For GT though, the GT3 event at TURN has had this issue and ultimately, all they could do in the end was set out a mandatory set of pit stops. You've got two buckets for GT; cars that can 3 stop and cars that 4 stop. Considering the fastest car is in the 3 stop bucket, it's a no brainer. Mandatory pitstops would open the field and allow all cars be on the same playing field. At the moment we've just scratched off nearly all the cars because there is no point.

That's my two cents.

i originally was gonna go in the Viper, i could get it running mid to high 44's consistently, and it would run 1 lap more then the SLS, but the SLS i am running Low 44's with high 43's in the Bracket, what easily make it a easier choice 2 change car to the SLS when imma be making up 5 tenths to a second a lap up on the Viper , Bentley maybe el Rapido but yano it is the logical Choice is people want it and can tune it cause it is a biatch 2 drive haha

The Bentley will always be OP with its acceleration.
