That's really bizarre... Test Drive has always been slower for me, but only by a few tenths max.

Just a bit practise and you will get there man, and a good tune helps obv lol

i know there is a glitch in test drive where you get 4% gearbox damage for no reason. that might be the cause of it

I almost always use cosmetic damage in testing. It's something that's ever so slightly different between the different game modes... It has done that for a few Forza games now.

That's my best lap 1.03.988 in Lotus Carlton so far. However my racing pace is low 1.04. Hope I can improve till tomorrow.

got it to a 2:46 could be quicker if I can nail en'rouge perfectly. that's the corner where it will make or break your lap. and if you get it wrong, you be in very big trouble.

was practicing with Joshua the fox and got a tankslapper top of the hill which fired me into the barrier
