To comment on xebot's post,
I'd be happy having a small team to organize, try fitting as many drivers as I had to into teams (which was all done last night lol), as for having a week to sort things? The first threads went up on the 13th, and the date was confirmed months ago which should have been more than enough time to sort your teams out so that can't really be blamed on me can it?
I know the builds weren't made final until recently but the provisional builds were the first things to get posted so the car list has been up for ages.
I'm all for taking criticism so I'll look to try get things posted up a little earlier for the next round but honestly you can't blame us for you having to pull teams out.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - General Discussion
Also a 'feeder' series that essentially segregates teams wouldn't work. How do you quantify who is 'big' and who isn't? Also there are drivers in the 'big' teams that aren't as fast.
No blame can be passed onto anyone but the drivers that didn't test. It shouldn't make much of a difference if builds were 'provisional' or not. Get involved driving, that was the point!
@Joito, races like the VEC format would be good to carry forward; we'll see what we can fit into 2017

It's mainly stints and qualy time that need to go up a bit sooner as they are a pain to sort.. At Le Mans, I was sorting everything out till pretty much the start of the race so it may help others out if they were put up a bit sooner

As I said in my previous post, it was the threads (qualy and stint) not being up early enough By the looks of things, it's turning into a HCR/LMR field again (which I have nothing against as Ik you need that many teams) so what I meant was, any teams that can't get into here, go into the other series, then depending on space, they could get an entry for Le Mans depending on who is entering it
Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - General Discussion
its a shame you had to pull the team but it didnt really help that the merger happen so close to this race.will you be racing at spa as i will be able to drive for that round.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - General Discussion
At some point, all the big teams were small. I remember when F4H was tiny but you get stuff organised eventually and you start to figure out your internal processes. If anyone, anyone at all has any issues or problems when it comes to organising things, I would be happy to share some ideas and processes with them that'll help them in the future.
If you're feeling inferior or you are struggling to get stuff organised, please reach out to someone and ask for advice. I am always checking the forums and should anyone want to chat with me, my email is chrisupra@gmail.com or you can PM. You shouldn't be backing out of events before you can't get organised. We want everyone involved.

Cant wait for this race to go ahead its a shame that some of our drivers are either Racing IRL or on holiday or worse work so down to one car of nut cases

From 2013-14 TEC
"There will be one mandatory pit stop per session."
2016 season GT's have been made to make 4 stops in the opening 3 rounds.
I have tested only non handicap cars all of them can make it on a 2 stops all be it slowly, 3 stops seems ideal.
I vote for two mandatory pit stops per session.

It has always been 4 for GT. No car can make it on 2 stops in a 2 hour stint. The longest a GT car can last on fuel while conserving is about 35 minutes, and you'd last about 30 at race pace. The R8 and 458 cannot last a full 2 hours on 3 stops, anyway, so we've done 4. I know the stints stop at 1h45, but I'm not sure if we're doing a full 2 hours for the final stint. If the last stint is a full 2 hours of racing, we need 4. If it's 1h45 like the rest, 3 will probably work.

I think you'll find that it stops at 1Hr 40, and the last stint is a full 2 hours, I thought you all read the rules? lol
Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - General Discussion
Oh, so sorry that I missed the time by a whole 5 minutes because we've always done it that way until this year. Also, the last stint WASN'T 2 full hours in the TEC races I've done this year. No need to be a nitpicking cock when you don't even know what's going on.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - General Discussion
The final stint at LeMans had full 2 hours of racing!
The Lobby was set to 2:15 because of that. Exactly as stated in the Rules and Regulations thread.

You clearly weren't here for Daytona, then. That was the last TEC event I ran here, and despite the rules saying the last stint was 2:15, the A lobby host set it to 2:00.
Try again, bud.

You know that there were three other TEC events in between, right bud?
From the Sebring Rules and Regulations:
Stint 6 will be the same as stints 2-5 with the only difference being a full 2 hour stint, race set to 2hr 30 and still stopping when the timer reaches 30:00
From the Watkins Glen Rules and Regulations (even if we didn't come that far):
Stint 6 will be the same as stints 2-5 with the only difference being a full 2 hour stint, race set to 2hr 15 and still stopping when the timer reaches 15:00
From the LeMans Rules and Regulations:
Stint 12 will be the same as stints 2-11 with the only difference being a full 2 hour stint, race set to 2hr 15 and still stopping when the timer reaches 15:00
You need anything more, bud?

Your race number needs to go on the car. You can find it in the location where you originally signed up for a number.
