I think that with X class cars on a circuit that size, it could be a disaster. The GP worked just about alright but we're talking about putting 12-16 200mph+ open wheel monsters on a circuit that is only 1.2 miles (6336 feet) long. I've done the maths and for a 16 car field (each car is about 16 feet long) with an average gap of 50 feet between them, the field will be just over 1000ft in length. Once you have about 5 laps done, the leader will catch last place and I can unfortunately almost guarantee a crash...

I'll be happy to do GP again but Indy is too short for these.

I can confirm guys that we will have a 12 Race schedule next season and it will include 2 dropped rounds. also it looks like it may go a week or two after the launch of the latest iteration of the game. Tried to finish before but the availability of Saturdays didn't work out.

Let's all spam Turn 10's email asking for a short oval to be added to the track list for Forza 7. I for one would love to have a circuit similar to Gateway to run on. Or Loudon.

So I would like to put in my two cents here. I just ran an IndyCar series with /r/redditracing on reddit. You guys may know Dr Beck, he ran with us a few times and won every time. Our schedule was pretty simple, just the tracks that IndyCar has ran on in the past or currently.

Road America
Watkins Glen Full
Daytona(need more ovals in this game)
Indy GP
Indy 500
Dual races at Mazda Laguna Seca
Homestead Miami Oval
Long Beach
Road Atlanta
Sonoma GP

A few of the tracks sucked pretty bad, Laguna Seca and Sonoma GP. Sonoma should be the full course with the inter carousel and the hairpin. Laguna Seca is just to tight for these cars. Long Beach should be late in the season for the sake of the newer drivers. It's very technical and will cause issue if drivers don't know how to drive the cars.

A few tracks are must haves, they were fantastic races and incredibly fun drives. Road Atlanta is a must. Road America and Watkins Glen were great and everyone knows. Both the Indy road tracks could be ran without issue as they drive pretty differently and race in opposite directions. I didn't do much testing personally on tracks outside of the US but /r/GASCAR is also doing IndyCars right now in a multi-class series with Formula Fords. Silverstone in the wet was probably the 2nd most fun I've had driving these cars. They races COTA, Catalunya, and the Nurburgring GP and will race Spa, and Yas Marina. If Nurburgring GP is ran, it should not be at night because you guys run sim damage, as apposed to Fuel and Tires, and the chicane is not lit at all. A lot of wrecks would happen there. I think Yas Marina should be run at night because it's very well suited for the night.

That's all I have to say. I just hope the formatting is alright because I haven't used forums other than reddit in a long time.

Sadly, that isn't in Forza 6. Although Road America's West (IIRC) circuit is similar, but no where's close to Milwaukee.

There's only 3 purpose-built ovals in the game, Daytona, Homestead, and Indy.
