Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
If we keep with the timed format it is easier to know when pits are closed and when the race is over. If we say pits are closed on lap 75, people who are lapped may be confused. We could simply have the leader say when they cross the line, but not everyone has a mic, and there are issues with people getting dropped from parties so not everyone may hear it. It's easier to just say pits close at 15 minutes and race ends at 10 because everyone sees the same clock.

Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
You still have race timer- same clock- even with the lap format so you can say since 1h 20min pits are closed. Does not matter what lap we are on. We would end rade not wen the time reach 15 minutes but when time reach 1h 30min.

This series is based on the WeatherTech Sports Car Championship which are also timed races.

You do not get me boys. I still want to do a time race. The difference in this set up let you see lap times instead of mileage. We would still race for 90 min, we would still have pits closed in 10 min before end and so on.

That's how I run RLMS over at RORA.
The way it's done now removes any ambiguity / margin for error, which is nice.
However, the ability to see lap splits would be nice.

Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
Funny enough i think you could do races w/ laps because they've made it so you can do >50 laps in a multiplayer session but, there are a lot of organizational things you'd need to redo to make that change.
That being said I don't think you can do # of laps for multi-class because once a car crosses the line, the AI take over, and if there is a GT battle ongoing, those Ai are going to cause mayhem.

TUS Kamikaze scored 141 points for Road America according to the live timing, but he is showed in the standings as having a 0. This is affecting the drivers and teams standings.

We are having a few issues at the moment. That should be resolved soon!

Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
Indeed the same issue applies to members of our teams and other who have currently not got correct points or none at all showing having scored points for last nights round, others aren't quite making sense, so yes it would be great to see the proper and full points put in place soon.
Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
A lot of Lobby 3 still hasn't got points on their names, Or teams. Bit hard for me to judge where me and my team mates are positioned, allowing other folks points are wrong too.
Don't even get me started on the fact I could've made a roast dinner while waiting for the Timing sheets to tell us whose lobby we were supposed to be in.

We experienced availability issues. Several staff were ill, I was at the Barber IndyCar race. Luckily Motorhead and Hunty were able to get everything sorted out. While we would always prefer to have these things up quickly, it's not always possible.
Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
I understand people can't avoid being ill, perhaps have a few folk on standby in future, just incase this happens again. The last 2 weeks have been ridiculous time wise regarding race starting.
also I will add, hunty did an amazing job yet again at the last minute.

Not every issue is simple to solve, sometimes it can take some time to figure out the issue.
Things break sometimes.
That is the only answer I can give you.
Re: TORA ASCC - General Discussion
So ignore the Poll for the next race? The race will be on May27? I'm little bit confusing about what is the official day since the last comment about this poll to change the day is not real?
Thanks
