Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
Think you've done a great lap and want to brag about it? Or maybe you feel a bit off pace and are seeking some tips?
Either way, this is the place to post your lap times.

Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
First tuning session with the John Works Mini has me down to a 51.343

52.1 in the '07 civic. About a second slower in the Alfa and the Mazda. I don't think I've found the right build yet. More tests are needed.

Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
Everything I've tested with a quick tune/5 lap run is anywhere from a 50.3 to a 50.7, except for the '16 Civic, though I think that's the build being faulty.

I’ve just been trying the Megan’s at Brands. 51.21. I could do with a tune or a build for this series. I’m really bad at FWD driving and tuning, but this series should be tight and fun

Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
Tweaks to the build have me down to the mid 51s in the '07 Honda. On another note, I'm glad the races will be short enough to not have to pit, cause this little turbo weed-whacker hates cold tires.

Anybody tried the 2019 Veloster? I'm thinking about that after racing it in in-game Leagues but work has been a [Censored] lately...

It's good.
Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
Veloster was one of the quicker cars, but after doing infinity laps in it for the Rivals event this month, I refuse to drive it.

Yo hit me up when you're on. Nowhere near the best driver or tuner out there but I can get the cars into the 50s (just). And after the fun in American Iron we are pretty similar.
Anyone else want a hand just send me a message and imma get back to you asap.

I've gotten a clean 51.1, but know I can knock another tenth or few off that.

I'm not too far behind then with the Honda '07. I can be up to 5 seconds behind in some races.

Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
Took the car I was testing at Brands to all the other tracks on the calendar and got the following:
Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - 0:51.1xx
Silverstone National Circuit - 1:02.6xx
Mugello Autodromo Internazionale Club Circuit -1:03.8xx
Maple Valley Short Circuit - 0:43.7xx
Road Atlanta Club Circuit - 1:03.0xx
Hockenheimring Short Circuit - 1:10.2xx
Suzuka East Circuit - 0:56.5xx
Certainly more to come by tweaking builds/tunes for each track but given how there aren't any useable leaderboards in the game at least writing them down somewhere makes them easier to remember.

Re: Hot Hatch Challenge Lap Times
I've been practicing 5 lap qualifying sessions with the AI set on Pro and no collisions.
I think this has helped me get down to 51.9 to 52.1 's instead of the 53's in the Veloster.
No matter where I start on the Grid, the AI almost always beat me to the 1st turn.
This is probably where I'll be in the actual races

Hello, yes some of these boys are very fast.
I've been practicing with the Hyundai Veloster N with Flyin Mikey's tune and have finally posted a 51.9 at Brands Hatch.
I uploaded my Replay if you want to watch what gears I use and the line. I'm not fast as you will see, but it may help.
I set up a race in FREE Play for Brands Hatch with 11 AI set on Pro.
Set the Division to "ANY" and car Class to B
I set the Lobby to the TORA Qualify room.
Turn OFF ABS, TC, and SC.
Set the laps to 5 and Collisions OFF and SIM damage on.
You can check the Leaderboards after every race if you want.
Good luck.
